kombucha

Put down my first batch yesterday

I joined a group on FB ( Beli Nothing Project, it basically means Project Buy Nothing where its members give away their things for free ) about 4 months ago and I’ve seen lots of them kombucha being given away.

Yep I have made beer and wine in the past .

Interesting looking online seems you can use coffee instead of tea for a different taste

And "kvass" is simular but made with beetroot

The coffee sounds interesting as I like coffee more than tea. I like it best when made with green tea. The kombucha lady said you need a different scooby for green tea but some other hippie said he just mixed the 2 teas and the reduced the ceylon tea with each batch untill it was just green tea.

Kombucha good alternative to chemo the herbalist reckons.

Well chat as your on a health kick it is an easy to make healthy drink ,as long as you don't drink it too early and allow the scoby to convert most of the sugar
