Mick Jagger needs a new heart valve...

In recent Rock music events, the Rolling Stones have postponed their North American tour originally scheduled April 20th to July 29th. 75 year old singer Mick Jagger will undergo surgery Friday to replace a heart valve.
Local radio stations announced if you have tickets to hold on to them as the Stones intend to get back on the road as soon as Mick recovers!

A coworker has tickets and is eager to see the Rolling Stones perform... again!

Stones put on a pretty good show..mick wears his rockin blazers.applause
I've read reviews about the energy he creates onstage and some shows are more than 2 hours long. Amazing for anyone his age.
While he may not get what he wants, hopefully he will get what he needs. grin

All, first saw them, in Providence RI, in late 60's. Over all these years, the shows still are full of energy. Mick never slows down, so hope he's OK. These days, valve redos are almost routine. Saw the new Who (10 members, two drummers, small horn section, etc.) couple of years ago in Boston---same awesome show as ever. After two hours of many of their own older hits, band went back stage, and D&T stayed for another half hour, talking with the audience, and doing some acoustic stuff. Wonderful.
