April 14th is New year here.
Sinhalese and Tamils celebrate New year when the Sun moves from the house of Pisces to the house of Aries. It is something to do with the Astrological calendar.
During this transition, there is a time period, that people don't do anything because it is considered as an inauspicious period. Yesterday, it was from 7.45 a.m to 8.33pm.
So may be, just may be, the iceberg struck at an inauspicious time.
May be Lincoln was shot at an auspicious time, and may be he was going through a bad time period Astrologically.
I don't believe in these stuff. But sometimes I wonder what if they are true.
