Trinidad

After spending 3 weeks in Tobago yesterday we left for Trinidad. We started sailing at 7 am. It was a clouded and drizzly day but started to clear up in the afternoon.
I didnt really want to visit Trinidad because of security reason but I must say that last night the entrance was impressive. Sorry for the bad quality in the photos

Sunset as we approched the bay.

You are going to start me off again Mic. The truth I thought no american really knows where Spain is. Most don't travel out of America or even have a passport.

Spain is lovely and much more down south where I live. The people, the weather, the atmosphere and the culture. Once you have visited Spain you will want to keep coming over. Spain is like being on holidays everyday.
Jenny in the boatyard I meet a group of Australians. Take a look at their site you will like their boat. Quite interesting group of people.

Ish, do you have UV rated clothing?
A coworker often goes boating for the weekend and told me about protective clothing. Until he mentioned it I didn't know it existed.
No UV clothing just sun protector
I. How about a little chat on your auxiliary power, your reefing, weather sails, the single side band for weather fax, rescue raft and Epirb, weather vane self steering, ground tackle, lightning strike protection, etc.
Spain is one of the only European countries I have not been to. My ex boss married a Portuguese women about 10 years ago and I went to the wedding there, but didn't get to Spain. I hear it is nice... maybe some day.

Yeah miclee, Spain is just south of DEE border ain't it?

V I have 4 solar panels and a superwind. I have 10 sails aboard. Main sail 1, 2 Genoa 1, 2 and 3. Storm sail. Jib and Ballerina. Spinaker 1,2 and 3.
I do have a one band radio to recieve weather forcast but it has be uninstalled as I had no idea how to use it. I do online weather, windy or windfinder. I have a liferaft which I hope never to use. Epirb registered with my mmsi. I have an Aries wind vane plus a wheeldrive autopilot. I have no idea what ground tackle is and if I have lighting strike protection.
If I were you, I would sail to every corner of the world and back again. You are living the dream thumbs up
Diamond you need to visit Spain before the wall is built. You and Miclee will be too old to go climbing over walls.
Track for now its going to be 2 years sailing and I will visit countries around the Atlantic. I want to visit Malaysia, Thailand and Australia but Im not going to sail there.
Australia would be a long haul.

Make sure you make a stop in Newfoundland Canada (summer time preferably), there are ports everywhere here along the coast.
You and Miclee will be too old to go climbing over walls.

Speaking for myself, I'm already too old.

Where's my walker at anyway?
