'16 Libertarian VP Candidate Challenges Trump.
Former Mass. Gov. & '16 Libertarian VP candidate Bill Weld will challenge Trump in the '20 Repub Presidential Primary.
The above vid is a brief introduction to the challenger.
For the record...
I'm neither endorsing nor denouncing him.
I'm a staunch Independent; I'm giving him a looking over as I would (and will) any candidate of any party.

"In recent years, Weld has become involved in Presidential politics. In 2016, he left the Republican Party to become the Libertarian Party running mate of former Governor of New Mexico Gary Johnson. Johnson and Weld were the first presidential ticket since 1948 to consist of two state governors. They jointly received nearly 4.5 million popular votes, the best showing ever for a Libertarian ticket, and the best for any third party since 1996. After returning to the Republican Party in 2019, Weld announced on April 15 that he will challenge President Donald Trump in the 2020 Republican primaries."

I wish him the best of luck.
Should 6'4" Weld prevail & ascend to the Presidency, he'd share the distinction of being Murka's tallest Prez with Abe Lincoln.
...lists Weld's positions on a wide(!) range of issues.
It's from his '16 Libertarian VP run and appears slanted toward a Libertarian viewpoint, but it gives alot of info at a single site.
The last elected Prez to be successfully challenged from within his own party was Franklin Pierce in 1856.
A very astute poli-sci guy I know IRL (and a Lib'rul) summed up his take on it, "Trump's going to win. People need to get used to it."
I find it difficult imagining any of the current Dem hopefuls prevailing.
There could be an outlyer currently under the radar that comes out of nowhere, but the poli-sci guy may well be correct.
What do I know FOR SURE?
More will be known in 1 1/2 years.
She looks kinda like Prez material to me...
