Life expectancy, all causes, is reduced by about a decade compared to the averages for those with more normal s*xual practice choices. Not merely the usual suspects (viral hepatitis types, HIV, STD's, etc.), but some other less commonly suspect causes of mortality. Most striking is a thousands percent higher rate of often terminal an*l carcinoma. These data, while our ueber lib state legislature has just joined a dozen other states in banning professionals from addressing any aspects of a child's choices of sexuality. Not merely counsellors, but everyone from Pastors to audiologists. Sure, there is little evidence that such therapies will reverse s*xual choices. But in younger years, identities vary, and I wish I had a shekel for each time a kid wanted to chat with me about these importand topics. We will all now be in the stockade if we think such unbiased talk might help a kid sort things out. Not to force them to change, but merely to listen and provide info. And process thoughts. fears and feelings, as with any other important clinical encounter. Terminal political correctness. Many say, well, why then are the medical societies for the bans? The same medical groups who would have yanked someone's license if they were against lobotomies. Tons of other such examples.
