Has the Creator abandoned us?
I just want to say that I mean no offense in the words I write today or I'm just searching for answers to my questions, we are a free people and I think we're still allowed ask questions in this world we live in. And my first question is has the creator of everything abandoned us? Where has he or she gone? Does the creator sit back and watch us destroy ourselves time and time again? Why is it the creator was there and spoke to the people of old times? Some of the people the creator spoke too where! Adam and Eve, Noah and his sons, Job and his friends, Moses, Samuel, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Jacob, David, Solomon, Elijah, Isaiah, Jonah, Hosea, Zechariah, Jesus and his Mother Mary, and many more, and please forgive me on the order I write these names I mean no disrespect, but all these people the creator spoke to over time and as I said many others as well, now fast forward to today and any of these people where here and they said the creator spoke to them what would happen? and that goes for most religions, I'm sure there's a creator in them! So your honest opinion please Lady's and Gentlemen what would happen? Well my opinion is any of those people today would be sent to a mental institution for symptoms of mental health problems, including psychosis, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, schizoaffective disorder or severe depression. and pumped full of medication because the Positive Symptoms of Schizophrenia: Things That Might Start Happening, Auditory. The person most often hears voices in their head plus Visual. Someone might see lights, objects, people, or patterns or have visions, sound familiar? Tell me what you think? and please don't take offense to the questions I mean no disrespect I'm just a young man searching for anwers.

I think when a person gets uncomfortable enough they start looking for answers.
I've had lots of bad things happen to me in my life, but I have never questioned God.
Most of the things such as diseases people do to their own bodies. Our bodies were created to heal themselves, but as humans with a free will we put things in our body that
were never meant to be there.
I have learned that people don't like to be told something they are doing is bad for them.
I have a close family member who would be much happier if she would let go of the bad feelings she has for another person, but if I was to suggest it to her she would get upset with me and say I was picking sides...so I will let her work it out her self. I have tried and she said whats done is done and nothing will change it. That is what she chooses to believe.
You can always trust an atheist to rush in when you want the answer to a question of religion, bless them.

it sort of begs for an appropriate response. Now, lets get back to "Has the creator abandoned us ?"
I think most of us agree, that no creator abandoned us.....
either because there is no being, that actually is a creator,
or because we aren't abandoned by a creator.
The people who BELIEVE there is a creator, haven't seen a creator or seen that creator
actually actively create anything.
It was all kind of here before we got here. So, one simple explanation is that some creator
created it. That's an ancient belief. Indeed, they used to believe creators created everything people didn't understand; fire, water, the moon, the sun, wind, the sea, illness,
famine, fertility, etc.....
As things became better understood, those gods were eliminated.
People stopped believing in them, when the actual causes were identified.
So, now there's still a few things that not everyone understands.
Thus, some belief in gods hangs on, despite never seeing them.
To each their own.
