The US and UK's relations with 'Huawei' are going sour.

The US and UK are placing either restrictions or bans on 'Huawei's' development of 5G phone coverage in those countries. Are those actions to ultimately protect their network security or will the impact be far greater for the UK with the erosion of further trade development with China?

Trump is an okay guy he likes to shake folk up, now china have said they would NOT use technology of 5g to spy, would they have said that before?

Although we have this friendship with America doesn't mean we have to do all they saydunno
Actually, China has said nothing, Huawei however, has reiterated that they have never and will never make their equipment capable of spying.
This is a totally political motived move by the USA to try and dominate 5G, Huawei being the world leader in 5G technology, the USA doesn't like that they are behind anyone else, maybe the UK should start asking questions about Dell and HP , both companies have backdoors enabling them to access data on any of their branded computers. Never buy a Dell or HP if you have sensitive data stored on your computer.
Ask Assange he will confirm this and that he never uses these companies equipment.
Simply DON'T BUY ANYTHING MADE IN THE USA
wow oops iv just bought a dell laptop, roll eyes but of course I do not have much info on at the moment, BUT im not MI5 grin or anything like that. But do have big concerns for fair play (which by the way my country is not giving ) Julian Assangemoping
The reality is all software and IT hardware will have a history of exploitable vulnerabilities, and it is pretty much impossible to determine which could be intentionally placed covert backdoors, especially as an advanced and sophisticated nation-state actor would seek to obfuscate any deliberately placed backdoor as an unintentional vulnerability.

For instance, the following are critical security vulnerabilities reported within tech made by US firms in just the last 9 days, no suggestion any of these are intentionally placed backdoors:

22-May-2019 New Zero-Day Exploit for Bug in Windows 10 Task Scheduler
14-May-2019 ZombieLoad: Researchers discover New Hardware Vulnerability in Modern Intel Processors
14-May-2019 Prevent a worm by updating Remote Desktop Services
13-May-2019 WhatsApp voice calls used to inject Israeli spyware on phones
13-May-2019 Cisco Secure Boot Hardware Tampering Vulnerability

Is it wise then to be suspicious of Chinese technology and not give them the opportunity to undermine our security by exploiting possible backdoor weaknesses? I feel that this perceived antagonistic attitude against China will come at a price to the UK economy. In light of the information above, is it right to follow the USA in this course of action?
Is it right to follow anything the US government asks? WMD, for example, lead the UK into a vicious and totally unnecessary war. Trump is a proven liar, why would anyone follow any requests he makes?
He is already stirring up Iran and the middle east, all to divert attention away from his lies and poor management skills, not to mention the money laundering his companies have been doing.
5g is dangerous and should be forgotten scold
Wow, Rizlered; here is a suggestion for you, since you seem to have some kind of axe to grind with USA '" don't buy any thing from USA." here is a thought for you and everyone else who has a problem with the only country for the last 100 years that has maintained the balance of power stability that has allowed every other Country on the PLANET to maintain the status quo! There are some who may think that a bold statement, but if you disagree,as in everything else, one is always entitled to their opinion they are not entitled to be wrong! professor scold sleep sigh help frustrated handshake angel
