Twas the night before Payback and all through the Land,
They're running like rabbits in Afghanistan,
Osama's been praying, he's down on his knees,
He's hoping that Allah will hear all his pleas.
He thought if he killed us that we'd fall and shatter,
But all that he's done is just making us madder.

We ain't yet forgotten our Marines in Beirut,
And we'll kick your butt, with one heavy boot.
And yes, we remember the USS Cole,
And the lives of our sailors that you stole.

You think you can rule us and cause us to fear,
You'll soon get the answer if you live to hear.

And we ain't forgotten your buddy Saddam,
And he ain't forgotten the sound of our bombs.
You think that those mountains are somewhere to hide.
They'll go down in history as the place where you died.

Remember Khadhafi and his line of death?
He came very close to his final breath.
So come out and prove it, that you are a man,
Cause the Marines are coming and they have a plan.

They're Mothers and Fathers, Daughters and Sons,
And they sure do carry some mighty big guns.

Osama I wrote this especially for you,
For air mail delivery by B-52.
You soon will be hearing a thud and a whistle,
Old Glory is coming, attached to a missile.
Will not be sorry to see you go.
It's Red, White and Blue that is running this show.

Even if like you I'd like a world with peace and no war, I know that it would be naiveness to believe that it will be possible one day.

Wars have existed throughout human history, and will continue to do so because politicians will always seek power (and that will mean people will have to fight).

Moreover, even if you don't mean to attack other nations, it doesn't mean that some other bastard won't attack you.

You personally don't go burgling other people's property, it doesn't mean you leave your front door unlocked do you? And you still appreciate the role of the police in keeping the law?

Same applies for the military in international terms.

Lastly, if you don't respect the courage, values & sense of duty of military personnel, you were perfectly free not to post on this blog comment, and leave your vomit smiley down your gob. No offence meant of course, have a nice day!
sure hope I didn't encourage this with my last reply to this Marine. I did my duty way back when, was proud to do so, but as time has passed and I've grown older not so sure we were right back then, not so sure we are right now. But we're sorta stuck with it again aren't we?? The government is always going to do what they want and pass it off as the will of the people by saying "the people elected us". SAD COMMENTARY!!
Great poem. I am so glad we aren't ruled by pacifists as we would all be hiding under our beds crying like babies instead of fighting for our freedom. Afghanistan is not about killing but trying to make it a better, safer place to live. Our troops are over there building schools, roads, bridges, and trying to make it safe so a woman can go to school without being killed. I don't see that as war mongering or killing; so why don't you give your head a shake Kitty and stop insulting our soldiers. I think we should ship all the whining bleeding heart pacifists like you to Afghanistan so you can experience first hand what it is like not have any rights. Maybe then you would appreciate what we are trying to do as soldiers.
Osama, Obama, Bush, Gore and Sadam,
The whole friggin' mess is a globalist scam.

The war is a myth, global warming a fable.
All lies, to excuse stealing food from our table.
