Parable of the Blind and Deaf.

Once upon a time there were two men.

One was blind and the other was deaf and dumb.

( I am fully aware of my political incorrectness. I spare the terms visually impaired and speech and hearing impaired for real disable people with all due respect. )

Getting back to the story..

The deaf and the blind meet at a pub called CS on a daily basis for socializing.

Politics is their main topic of discussion, but their disabilities have limited them in many ways to understand the true nature of politics.

The blind man shouts from one side about the stuff he read only available with braille language made available to him by Fox.

The deaf and dumb can't hear what he says. He knows only things that had sign language translations by CNN. He vigorously argues with sign language from another corner. But the blind can't see.

Rest of the pub watch and watch and watch. ( SICK AND TIRED)

Some call for the bartender to throw them out.

Some ask them to shut up.

Most have avoided the pub altogether. (This is the sad part)

The moral of this story is.... who cares.

In honour of Biff and Harbal. I hope they will be free to blog again.

If I offended anyone I am sorry to say I am not sorry. grin

They insist that it's their right and if the other patrons don't like it, they should ignore....

That is until the opposing views pile up, then the hypocrites complain about all the hate.

Good blog, Usha!

For a moment there Usha, I thought you were talking about Robert and Peter Putter. rolling on the floor laughing tongue

Reminds me of a pub I used to go to drinking sometimes they'd have live entertainment so I'd meet all my mates there, a lot of the time it was just frequented by football hooligans shouting about there team sigh but when the entertainment was on the place would really fill up with normal people banana problem was at weekends they had a bartender who was deaf dumb & blind sigh so whenever the football crowd started a fight this bartender would just grab the closest to hand & chuck them out, not realising, due to his impairments, that he was actually chucking out the entertainers we all went to see doh for a while we all went to the pub across the road where you could watch the hooligans from a safe distance wow but of course that got to be really boring so we all went off to a pub on the other side of town & lived happily ever after grin

You may need to clean the windows on this blog quite often, people looking through them tend leave marks when they view professor but on the plus side I doubt you'll need to wash the floors much as not many will actually enter sigh wink
I noticed something about people who enjoy discussing politics. It seems that it makes them feel important. As if they become politicians themselves while doing it.

It's like a sport for some people. They cheer their team up and - for a moment - they ARE that team and they feel the connection and belonging to something bigger than themselves.

I think it's one of the reasons why political discussions are so popular and passionate.
Bella, wave

Nice way you have put it.

I don't engage in anything other than laughable matters. I can't be bothered with people's anger and misery they have brought upon themselves. I usually ignore all of it.

Good to see you around.

Yes Usha, you should be more politically correct and refer to these two men as "a couple of mongs" or "there were two spazmos" Shame on you girl!scold
I want your homework done by 2 pm, Usha, or you ´ll be punishedprofessor
Zman, I always miss the weekend bartender who is deaf, dumb and blind. Most of the time I miss his actions.

But come on. People like us who don't do club hopping are stuck here in eternal hell. laugh where is this Happily ever after?

I don't have to find a man for that right?rolling on the floor laughing
Johnny, Robert and Peter are same. I think he is being smart lately. Disassociating himself from himself by creating a Peter putter.

I'm on holiday at the moment, so I'm chilling out and checking various websites and applications I haven't visited for months. laugh

Greetings to all! wave
Badly, bouquet

I find it funny when the deaf and the dumb makes fun of the blindness of the blind. laugh
Great blog, Usha bouquet

But, using Z's example, it is the regular people at the bar, the oneswho go to the barman to complain about the troublemakers, are the ones who get thrown out. Not the troublemakers.

I have practically given up drinking in that particular bar anyway.
The clientele has deteriorated.
Hi Usha,
And I'm still dying to know what happened. I was not here at the time. help

It only comes to show that you miss all the action if you stay away.doh

Berry, I enjoy Harbs sarcastic humour too. If people loosen up and take it as humour there won't be any problems.

I miss many other bloggers too. Bloody in particular. I hope she wins whatever the public office she is contesting for.

Then there was Rogue. Non smoker. Angel. Ian. Scotty. Seri. Many of them. Those were the days. Even snooks. So, to those who kept these walls lively grateful for all the smiles laughs and banter.bouquet

Good Catfoot showed his face after a long absence.bouquet
Molly good to see you once in a while popping here. Yes, Zman is right about bartender being dumb, deaf and blind. I think it is high time I start a dating website. laugh

Cat, hug to be honest I don't know either. I only hope it's just a jail term. Anything more than that, is absurd in my thinking. uh oh
See me in my office Usha!professor

I have some data on MD. I don't think CS will go down any soon. I am sad that good bloggers are disappearing. We are left with political counter blogs. That's what I don't get.

Why can't a Republican go and fight his case in a democratic blog like civilized adult humans do without getting personal ? That is my point.

Anyway we are lucky to have you, Imp, and few others here. You two write nice blogs. Most days I read without logging in. So I might not comment always. But I enjoy your blogs.bouquet
Mic, I seriously doubt that Mods take a challenge by us mere mortals seriously, who live and die blah blah. (Something that Blue always says.) laugh

Is it wrong that I started laughing like mad at this point in the story? rolling on the floor laughing

Sorry to disappoint you, Jim.

I have never had another profile.

I should say they DO. And I submit as evidence...

@JimNastics

Thank you for your compliments. wine

I'm not a native English speaker and my English is full of mistakes. Being mistaken and mixed with a native English speaker is really rare flattery. I've never thought that my English is so good. wine

As I previously said, I play some games online and - Americans are the ones who pay the most. The games are alive because Americans pay a lot of money for playing and most of that money is completely unnecessarily spent on hoarding, competing and greed. The games tried to be international at first and although they do have many players from other countries - those players simply don't spend so much as Americans. So they got American-oriented.

In one of the games - the last week was all about American's holiday July 4th. As you can imagine, the rest of the world is not at least interested in that American holiday and many have never even heard of it, but we adapted and patiently waited until Americans finished waving with their flags and adoring their country so we could continue playing normally. After all - they pay for all of us to play... dunno

I know that American people are generally badly-informed about the rest of the planet, hardly know and even less care about anything except their own country and think that they are loved all over the world, that everyone envies them and wants to come to their country, etc, etc. Rather ignorant people. But, then, they are rich and they spend a lot so ... everyone tolerates them. What can one do? dunno

I don't come often - I haven't been here for 2 months - was too busy and I keep my profile hidden, because I cannot deal with messages at the moment. But I enjoy to drop by from time to time, although I enjoy forums more. There's nothing much to read on blogs anyway.

Stay well and enjoy! cheers
I find it kinda a funny when those who choose not to take a side think they're taking the high road.

So the way I see it, by not by not bothering to see right or wrong, and speak out about it would make a person like that deaf, dumb & blind. thumbs down
Because most people are NOT annoyingly obsessed politically divisive zealots, it doesn't mean they aren't aware.
BD I agree most people aren't political zealots. But there's both good and bad politics. So if some people choose to sit on their brains and point fingers at people who are trying to keep bad politics from completely ruining their country, then I would say that they need to rethink their passive lazy position and stop pointing fingers at others and point at themselves for thinking their above it all.
The point of this blog as far as I can see, isn't about politics. It's about people and how they blend into "polite" society.

Incessant, redundant, slanted, political blather: Does it belong on a dating site?

You'd have an easier time trying to convince me that the Jerry Springer show is informative or entertaining and belongs on PBS.
I am one of those who left. I check in maybe once a month or so and leave again without reading any of the blogs. I use to enjoy it here but something went terribly wrong. Think your blog explains it very well. sigh
confused confused Gosh I give up trying to understand ye all and the games some play and don't doh

Anyways wave Usha
So by the likes of most of you, deaf and dumb is acceptable terminology, have any of you had a deaf and dumb relative, probably not, my deaf and dumb uncle was an engineer bridges and buildings, no this is not about political correctness, it's about terminology, how bout a deaf muteprofessor scold
My uncle Ronny the deaf and dumb guy introduced me to einstein equationaly, he charted a 150 IQ, so deaf and dumb I ask you?
Bloody, if you don't win I might lose faith in humanity or rather Croats. So you better win.

You deserve it. handshake
Bentley,

( I am fully aware of my political incorrectness. I spare the terms visually impaired and speech and hearing impaired for real disable people with all due respect. )

which part of this statement you didn't understand ? I have reserved my respect for real disabled people. Haven't I ? So please be aware that I know disabled people see and hear more than the able bodied people.

I was not talking about real disabilities. doh
Ek, you posted some of the best blogs. Hope all is well and your son is doing good.

I need a distraction from real world time to time. This is where I always came because I don't do any other social media. Here is always away from everyone and everything. There was always something to read. Something to laugh and something to watch. sigh

Good to see you Ek. Take care!bouquet
