A fair useful summary of the Mueller Report

Robert Mueller is set to testify before both arms of Congress tomorrow (Wednesday 7/24/2019) in 2 separate meetings, first with the House of Representatives
and later with the Senate.

While his over 400 page report may be too much information for most
people to comprehend, here is a very fair and useful summary of the report
put together by PBS to help you better understand that report.

If you would like to be fairly well informed about the report, rather than being overwhelmed with rhetoric from others who want to believe lies, it would be prudent of
you to watch & listen to this good, useful, less than 1/2 hour video.
Please do so BEFORE you comment on this blog.

Thank you & have a wonderful day. head banger

With no further ado, here is that video;

Thanks for posting...very interesting indeed...wine
I'm glad you both found it useful.
Mean while, all the conflict of interests of the people involved in the scheme to undermine the election are left out.

As investigations continue on the illegalities of the the obozo erra spying, the demonrats push and twist lies to cover up their own actions.

If you were fairly informed and could see events and the truth as they have unfolded; you wouldn't be over whelmed and wrapped up in the criminal party of rats.

In a true system of justice, even obozo himself would be facing criminal charges, and all of the mueller would be erroneous as he too, goes down with the ship.

Impeachment won't happen, and most likely none of the other actual criminals that should be charged will face any thing either.

Get over it.

The country hasn't had it so good in decades. They still lie about losing revenues with the cuts and catering to the rich.
No. Many Russians were indicted.

You and Bob are confused. Obama was not running against Trump.
His last term was ending.

"Spying" is a term reserved for secret intel research on foreign agents in other countries,
not within our own. Trump is a criminal. Of course the FBI was monitoring his activities.
That's part of their job to protect the citizens.
The FBI monitoring of criminals like Trump and Trump himself, was ongoing long before Obama was even in Congress, let alone elected president. It had nothing to do with Obama.

Unlike the current AG situation, the FBI serves the public, NOT the president.
The president has his own legal counsel.
The current AG is the sole exception and should be removed because of it
and his dishonest presentation of his summary of the Mueller Report, that Mueller himself summarized.
Mueller's own summary was ignored and contradicted. Mueller himself protested this.
And yet your great hero Mueller can't defend his own report without somebody holding his hand , says alot about Mueller needing a lawyer present . He's not a very big man is he , and I don't mean size .

Guess he does not want to get caught out lying , yellow coward requested a letter asking that his ( Mueller) testimony be only about the report .
You either misunderstand again, or are purposely attempting to mislead readers.
Mueller asked his younger assistant to be there, so that he is clear on as many details as possible,
that he might not be aware of, or might have forgotten by now.
He didn't want any "I don't recall" situations, made infamous by Jeff Sessions.
does Mueller not have a copy of the report ? he should ask you for one . Mueller does not want to get caught out on a lie , he's yella
What's with the hill billy talk...missing Crayons?

laugh
Mueller wants to be accurate.
I see nothing wrong with that.
It sure beats Jeff Sessions'
"I can't recall" and about 25 other versions of that statement.
or Jim Comey with his 250 I don't recalls , seems to be a habit aroud those parts
That gave the impression that if it were not for the OLC opinion, Mueller would have indicted the president. In the afternoon, Mueller was quick to say that is not what he was trying to say at all.

“I want to add one correction to my testimony this morning," Mueller said. "I want to go back to one thing that was said this morning by Mr. Lieu, who said and I quote, ‘You didn’t charge the President because of the OLC opinion. That is not the correct way to say it[[[[. As we say in the report and as I said at the opening, we did not reach a determination as to whether the President committed a crime.]]]]

pretty much says it all .
A Fiasco on Capitol Hill
Your hero was really a star...
Didn't know who appointed him
Never heard of Fusion GPS
Contradicted himself 3x

And became obvious after a few minutes that he neither wrote or
Read the report with his name on it.

Incroyable..
Well the best I could tell, Trump wanted Trump Moscow and they told him '
no thank you' we have plenty big buildings. Then Trump thought 'they must not know who I am ... I have an idea ..I'll become a Presidential candidate and have my name plastered all over everything that it isn't already plastered, then we'll see if they want to talk'. and then he got nominated.... then he got elected.. then he elected Cohen to 'fix it but don't make mad' and the rest is history. sad flower
h - it probably went more like - Putin (Trump is already involved in illegal money laundering for Russian oligarchs. If we help Trump get elected, we can manipulate him, he will owe us another favor and we can influence him to drop sanctions. If that doesn't work, we can dangle permission to build a Trump Tower in Moscow. He's been begging for that for a decade.)

Trump's public call to Russia to find Hillary's e-mails was the seal on the deal.
After the election Trump tried to get sanctions dropped as a return favor.
But Congress in a bipartisan effort blocked it.
Trump does not try to be truthful, he says whatever it takes to get him through the moment. Lying to him is not that big of a deal, you have to believe that cause if he cared about truth he would at the least not say anything. But no he actually said he has had no dealings with Russia. Then I'm sure when questioned about it he would say something 'oh I thought you meant this month'...lol In reality he has others do it for him. I believe every word Michael Cohen said about working for him. Mueller couldn't exonerate him because a person is suppose to be innocent until proven guilty.
Good God! Trump had nothing to do with anything other than winning the election rolling on the floor laughing

Yalls some snivelling poor losers scold

Just wait till 2020 when he slams home another win yay peace cheers devil
"After clearly reminding us all that Sheriff Mueller had to play by the rules (in ways that won't make him popular to the rubes today but will establish him as the torch bearer of justice in the history books), Schiff then provided a denouement worthy of Aaron Sorkin (or to keep the metaphor going, Dwight Taylor and Mark Sandrich) by none-too-subtley following up the assumptive close with a clear list of actions we can expect to see in a series of sequels.
And all I could think of while listening to the closing argument was "Speaker of the House Schiff, President Schiff, Supreme Court Justice Schiff - or is there time for all three?"
Ok, your turn to now flood me with your weak, pathetic arguments. Be sure that I will defend to the death your right to be so wrong. But please, be "en pointe.""

h - I agree with a lot of what you said. However, when Mueller stated in the report,
that he couldn't exonerate Trump for obstruction of justice, he meant that there was substantial evidence that Trump did obstruct justice. The main reason he didn't
say that Trump committed a crime, was that his view is that the justice department cannot
decide on indicting a sitting president. The appropriate mechanism for dealing with such a situation is impeachment by the House of Representatives. Thus, it is now up to the House of Representatives to either go ahead and impeach Trump, or to hold off impeaching Trump until other witnesses are interviewed and/or more evidence is obtained.
Post a clip of the man who said time and again the he had evidence of Trump's collusion with Russians , what a liar .
About the only thing I have learnt from this sorry saga today is that Trump met with Mueller before he was appointed SC .
I have posted lots of information. It's up to you to learn from it.
Perhaps you don't want to learn. dunno
Did you know Trump had met with Mueller before he was appointed SC ? I'm sure the dnc will be able to do something with this , impeach Trump perhaps laugh
If I understand the position of our esteemed OP -

U.S. voters didn't read and/or understand the 400 pg. Mueller Report.
Going before the Houses of Congress would make it unmistakably clear that The Don had committed crimes of an impeachable nature.

Once voters were made to understand the Report they'd demand, in overwhelmingly large numbers, that The Don be impeached by the House & the Senate, supported by the will of the people, would find the political will to vote to remove The Don from office.

My sense of the situation is that Mueller failed to provide any compelling evidence/clarification that will bring about a groundswell of demand for impeachment/removal from office.

Indeed, his appearance before Congress quite likely had the polar opposite effect.
Impeachment/removal is even less(!) likely now (if that be possible) than a couple days ago when this blog was posted.
The chances at that time were slim to nil.

The 'Crats need to put this to rest, realize they ARE going to have to run someone against him in '20, and put their efforts/resources into that rather than flogging an impeachment horse that's been dead for at least a year.
It's over.
L E T...I T...G O ! !

IMO.
Some of y'all's results may vary, and probably will.

Election Betting Odds -

Trump Out Early? These bets are for whether Trump leaves office early -- for ANY reason except assasination. In case of assassination, the betting is cancelled.
$1,877,195 bet so far

Trump Completes His Term - 89.4% - +1.3% (daily change since 7/24/19)

Trump Out Early - 10.5% - -1.3%
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In the aftermath of Mueller's appearance, odds that The Don will complete his term jumped by +1.3%
Gamblers agree with others that Mueller's performance was a "catastrophe", "disaster", "debacle" for the cause of impeachment.
Check the trend line @
In January, '18 odds were 50/50 The Don would leave office before the end of his term.
It's now nearly 90/10 that he'll complete his term.
Mueller's pathetic performance by "a daft old man" should be the final and long overdue nail in the impeachment coffin...once & for all violin
I realize, that many people are disappointed, or thrilled, that Mueller's testimony was not
full of exciting fire & brimstone.
But, those who know Mueller best, did not expect it to be so. Not only is that not his style, but it was further prevented by the gag orders
that were placed on his testimony by the White House attorneys and Barr's DOJ.
However, the bottom line is that what was reinforced by it, is that the Russians did attack our election multiple ways. They attempted to help Trump win the election, not only with Trump's approval, but with his encouragement. Trump tried to impede and curtail Mueller's investigation several times. Trump lied about and tried to cover up several of his attempts.
These are crimes of obstruction of justice. It is the belief of the department of justice that it cannot prosecute a sitting president. The method for doing so includes first impeaching the president. Of course the odds for bet makers is going to go up with time.
There is less time before Trump's term is up and time will tell.
He may not have slam dunked the ball to everyone's delight yesterday, nor made an outside shot, but he kept it in play and passed it off to the House of Representatives, which was his job.
From the Chicago Tribune link in ep's comment above roll eyes
"There must have been a point in the Robert Mueller hearings when the big thinkers of CNN and MSNBC curled up on the floor in fetal positions and began breathing into brown paper bags, trying to remain calm.
Breathe. Collusion. Breathe. 'Did not reach a determination as to whether the president committed a crime.' Breathe. Ted Lieu? Breathe.
Those paper bags popped in and out, out and in, when Democratic media wizard David Axelrod and Harvard Law’s Laurence Tribe pronounced the Mueller hearings an unmitigated disaster for their side."
