I am exhausted!

After a few weeks with 5 am starts, I am officially exhausted, to the point where I can fall asleep anywhere. Work was good yet again today. It was a regular day, where I had some tasks that usually no other temp worker gets. I will not go into detail, but I was very happy with the result.

Before you all go "You did the thing with your manager", let me tell you: No, I did not. I am professional when I am at work, so nothing like that happens.

Towards the end of the day, I was given the task of showing how to assemble a stand, that we are gonna pack items in tomorrow. I, of course, didn't know how to do that, so I said "I am not entirely sure how to assemble the bottom", to which my manager/shift leader said "I'll show you after the break", and so she did. After I was shown, I began to pick up the pace. Soon I was building stands at a very rapid rate. I was then pulled off that task, and given another one. Yet again, I was acting as a leader, making sure that everyone had something to do. When we finished the job, I went "Nice work, guys!", to them, which felt natural to do. I really enjoy leading people, I have found out. Maybe I do have a leader-quality hidden inside me.

I have not been extended, so tomorrow will be my last day there. Maybe they will offer me more work during my break tomorrow, which I hope I do get. Or maybe they are just going "We want to hire you full time, starting Monday".

No matter what happens, I have had a great 2 weeks of work there!

Also, my US trip is still slated to happen next year!
