Maine---and Quebec...and the Donald.

These next two months have many sunny days, perfect for a vintace MC road trip oooooout to Quebec, EH? Leaving this AM. Vroom vroom. Canada rocks, in so many ways. Our Brilliant President Trump has a mouth, and a brass pair and sharp tweet fingers. But even he can't match certain teachers and now PM's from our friends home in the great white North. Black face, pitch dark, several times. Awesome. Man o man, I loves dem swinging pairs on dat dere Boss man.

You look like a Harley guy.
I spent a Summer when I was 17 living with a lumberjack and his wife in a town called Causapscal in Canada.
Thanks, Oobs. Canada is a great place and we are blessed having it for our northern neighbor. Would it were similar on the corrupt southern border. Given what a bonehead our Brilliant President Trump can often be, we would do well to benefit by following some of the sensibilities historically cast into the different social fabric up north. Selectively, of course. The point of my post was to emphasize that all nations have their flaws. Some tend to look down their noses at others, often around liberal fellings of superiority, and attendent virtue signaling. In the case of PM Trudeau, such pride certainly preceeds the fall. A VERY big fall.
Not at all, OD. The ride is a 1983 Honda GL 1100cc gold wing. Street undressed version. 52 MPG, and will cruise all day at well over 100 MPH on the German Autobahn. Harleys? How much I differ. Got my teeth, no "body art", professional graduate degrees, ---and don't smoke. But these folks are fun to pass, when the mood strikes.
And lets all hope those lumberjacks weren't the type who dressed like dear marmar in Monty Python's lumber jack ditty. Even a male chastity belt won't deter these sorts.
Canada...great land, still chock full of real adventures, as your fun tale supports. Enjoying my yearly antique MC trek to Quebec. French Canadian ladies really know how to dress, speak and lightly dab on real perfume. Just wish they weren't into the smokes so much. And we are so lucky to have them as neighbors. Years ago, I actually was awarded landed immigrant status, on the basis of job offers in Quebec and out West. Should have done it. A bucket list of life regrets.
