Rock & Roll Rehab...
If I had any business savvy I would have opened a rehab clinic for Rock & Roll musicians who cannot keep their careers inline. My facility would be busy year round!James Hetfield, singer & guitarist for Metallica again has to be admitted to rehab for his uncontrolled drug and alcohol addiction. That means his band has to scrap the rest of their 2019 tour.
His new worth is estimated at $300 million so I doubt it will affect him financially... and the same goes for the other members of the band, including Robert Trujillo who joined the band in 2003 and only worth $15 million. The real money goes to management and the concert promoters. Others like road crew and catering that support the band will be most affected because they are at the bottom of the food chain. Thanks James, you f'up!
Let not forget about the fans... people who have waited years for the chance to see the band perform live... willing to plunk down hundreds of dollars. Thanks James, you f'up!
The band Tweeted “As most of you probably know, our brother James has been struggling with addiction on and off for many years. He has now, unfortunately, had to re-enter a treatment program to work on his recovery again,”
Oh?
One reader had the right response...
"Dave Mustaine was kicked out of the band for the reason that his alcoholism was effecting the band...fast forward 30 years. No member of Metallica's alcoholism has effected the band more than James"
Hmmm... maybe Dave isn't gigging right now.
