Bring back the one active blog per person system of blogging.
In years gone by, members were restricted to one active blog, each time a new blog was posted, all previous blogs were archived.
The advantage was that blogs remained on the first page for longer periods allowing more members to read and comment.

I don't read most or comment on most, I don't like the same faces repeated on the first page.
Having said that I know I have two, but someone bumped an year old blog. Not my fault.
Yes someone could always bump up old blogs but would take a long time to get rid of blog they disliked
EXRED has her finger on the real reason for complaining. Will relegating the favorites to page 2 remedy the problem or will it draw the attention to page 2? The blogs are getting the attention they deserve. Eliminating the competition is unfair and will lower the standard. If some bloggers want more attention they must write better blogs.
