Make food your medicine or medicine will become your food.
That includes mental issues and they are often the ones for which people turn first to medication and lastly to a healthy lifestyle.

Another means by which garlic protects one from contagious disease -
An apple a day keeps the doctor away. A garlic a day keeps EVERYBODY away
Many plants are medicinal without even our knowing.
Animals know what to eat when they have an upset stomach.
Dogs usually eat grass.
Btw the best probiotic is KEFIR.
Its best to make your own if you can.
I also eat a lot of curries and all the spices it contains are good for your health.
Things to avoid are: refined foods..sugar..meat..fast foods..deep fried..

Just watched a documentary on some Pacific Islanders...learning about cooking traditional foods that are locally produced rather than buying refined foods from other places...the dietitian was giving cooking lessons and talking about the herbs and spices used in such recipes actually are medicinal...many people have forgotten their traditional recipes and it was good to see that part of their culture was making a comeback...
