Are some people true gifts from God?
Of course if you believe in God.With that aside, what do you think? Are some people just so special/influential/inspiring/moving...
I think some musicians are that.
I have been listening to a lot of Shakira's music lately...not even sure why...I cannot even understand the language most of her music is in...and it is just amazing.

Hmmm...never heard about her tax evasion. She must have a lot of followers...I see some of her music has over a billion views on YT....meaning she must be making a lot of money too.
Maybe she will do some donating some day. ....instead of being greedy if it was intentional.

What makes Shakira have that ability?
To me, it is the emotion she expresses, seemingly obtained from a higher source, while singing/feeling her song.
also...
With the example you just gave....your female friend would only choose her. There are many other beautiful women in the world, probably much more beautiful than Shakira...but your friend chose her only. Why?
We humans are used to applying labels to phenomenon. We might just discount her as having talent and being beautiful....and leave it there. But, is there something more divine with her? Maybe a gift to humankind?
