Dog Begging

I get uncomfortable when a dog stares me down while I'm eating. Maybe I should clarify that because I'm guilty as hell, dogs know me. I feel uncomfortable after someone catches me feeding a dog they told me not to. I hate when that happens.

My own little Chi doesn't give a hoot about food so she doesn't glare at me while I eat, however Lucy begs Bella. Lucy moved in being a starer and glarer while one eats so I assumed her human fed her while she ate then gave her canned dog food afterwards. That is why to this day Lucy won't even check out her bowl until I finish dinner, she waits to see see about the human dinner before the dog dinner. This has taught me not to feed her just deal with her stare. As soon as I'm done off like a rabbit to her own dish.

With Lucy being the new addition,our living situation is unfolding much to my liking. One of the fun things I'm watching unfold is the morning treats ritual which is actually store bought dog treats and probably as unhealthy as fast food is to humans so I'm guilty of that but it is a ritual. One that Lucy looks so forward too. I've also learned that she will go out and do her morning poop faster because right after is when I give out the treats. Before when I gave treats out first thing in morning, when Lucy went for her morning walk she dilly dallied, peeing on every thing and just taking her sweet old time. I'm glad she wants to get back for the treats.

The closing point is that I love watching Lucy stare at Bella while she is eating because she knows she gets what Bella doesn't finish. I have to feed Bella up higher than Lucy or Lucy would gobble it up before a first bite. Lucy inhales her food while Bella gums it to death.
