speaking of God...and what about forgiveness
I had a friend a few years back that told me he was seeing this woman. This woman was a Christian and cheated on her husband countless times, eventually divorced, she lied, she stole, she dated men after men after men, cheating on countless boyfriends. My friend asked her, aren't you a Christian? What do you think God will think of this? Her reply was, the Bible says he will forgive me.

It's like you are begging for responses. A blog should be able to stand on it's own, without
responses.
You would probably get a lot more participation, if you simply posted the questions ones in the forums,
where they belong. A win win resolution.

What if I killed someone and I am forgiven but the dead person who may have done nothing wrong at all, is still dead?
Same applies to people she hurt. This is a problem with written text. People can believe what ever they want.

I hesitate to ask a question here...but....
In an effort to help, perhaps add your own statement about how you feel about her statement that
god will forgive her and the inclusion that you guess most people would feel the same way
(some will agree & some won't).
That way, you indirectly invite participation, but don't break the rules, which could lead to deletion and/or banishment.
Well...she lives with different rules...like it or not...no one is asking him to accept it...so just leave...
But, she truly believed her conduct was 100% Christian approved.
....and there is nothing that I know of written that states she is wrong.

But if God forgive man who repent and improve and sin no more what used to sin,is because God is love. In bible saying that God didn,t forgive David when he sin against Husband of Bersheba that killed
him and taken his wife and made a son, and God judged that David and son with death.
But later God forgiven David and given son Solomon.
So God is Perfect and righteous.
Death is penalty of sin.
So God forgive when man stop sining.if he continue sining:mean is not forgiven!
So stop sining usha and do a righteous life and so you shall live righteously!
So men or women who sin and continue sining:God do not forgive but will go in hell.
If her behavior is known in the church, she would/should be banned as she is a very bad example
The way this woman thinks the same would apply for a serial killer right?
So you can see there is something wrong with her thinking
Even the leaders cannot go without sinning. That is why supernatural forgiveness was invented.
Humans are humans. Not perfect. Some do human relationships well, some not so well.
It is up to us to choose well.

I said I believe in God. But that doesn't mean I am blinded by my love of God.
My conviction is a personal one. I understand things my own way. I know the bible is re written many a times and may have lost in translation many a times.
I am always a Thomas. I want proof. I don't think science can prove the existence or non existence of God.
I like to find my own path. I don't find following or believing what someone is saying interesting nor exciting.
I get bored when everything is served on a platter with sprinkles and fairy dust on top to make it all lovely.

Christianity an ideal to live up to....that very well could be. I don't know. The Bible is claimed to be the word of God.
What I think I know though....whoever wrote the Bible...especially when it was written 1000s of years ago...before the documented study of human psychology...whoever wrote it was very intelligent.
I think you are right about choosing our partners....choose wisely.

Thank you for additional information/clarification. From what I am understanding, there is only forgiveness with repentance. That is interesting as well. So with that said, just asking for forgiveness is not enough to have it granted.
Then, if somebody enters into a sinful act, knowing it is sinful, with expectations of being forgiven for it....knowing they will ask for forgiveness and repent later......
I am not expert...just trying to better understand...
It sounds to me what you have added...adds to the forgiveness portion rather address playing God as a fool.

As soon as I noticed that bad behaviour of others affected me, I withdraw myself. I notice you bringing negative examples regularly and that over a long period of time.
Yes, negativity is not good for your health or if you want to build up a healthy relationship.
It is always good to understand what makes a negative person tick.
