I've got lots of pressure in this relationship...

We were in Miami last weekend doing more house renovation to prepare for a sale. One thing needed was to pressure clean the sidewalk and front porch. My helper insisted doing this project and pushed me aside. She's got control of the pressure now. How much pressure? It would appear to be 1800 psi.

I had no choice but to run to Home Depot for some supplies...

Comment stays so people can see there is something seriously wrong with you.
It's my blog... should I talk about you?
No You are doing fine trying to get it all together, He will soon find his way out of the door.
That is why CS is kinda slow right now... The Mods. Got tired of that, sometimes they warn them, some days they are just GONE!handshake
Chat is that asphalt path dip. maybe I'm blind.
laugh
Concrete sidewalk and driveway. It's over 60 years old and somewhat pitted but pressure cleaning lightened it 20 shades.
Chat I seen that the walk was old and dry. Looked like asphalt over 27 yrs . Must have used finer stones in the mix. Instead of 2 b maybe grit. Probably didn't polish it like they do now. 26 yrs ago had a chance to buy over on the Sebastian inlet. Under $129.000 Nice fruit trees, landscape and bird aviary.
She looks quite content! I can't help think how silly it is when people want to keep the growth from growing between the cracks of the precious paved pathway, but then want the green squares of grass in a certain way!

I like to see gardens being natural and growing all they can to feed the insects etc. The wilder the better!

Good job I don't live where you do, laugh
in these parts we just wait for it to rain.......snowed in
Forever, did you actually do the work yourself or hire a gardener/landscaper?
Wilba, the process of using a pressure washer this size is really easy. Usually holding the wand with one hand and moving back and forth with a sweeping action removes years of mildew and dirt with only water. No soap or bleach is in the mix.
M4, I wish things were like that in South Florida.
I pressure washed roof tiles 3 years ago and they have darkened already.
Seasonal rains leave the tiles wet for days and that is when the mildew grows.

The place I'm living at now has a sealer on the tiles to reduce the mildew growth, but they become slippery when wet.
I know you are going to be glad when that house sells. Not everybody hates your blogs about you, I rather enjoy them.

My mind's eye pictures Elks with their horns locked fighting for territory. male bonding pffft
Thanks Fay...
I don't see it as Elks fighting for territory as he's mentioned several times about depression and dyslexia. That could be a reason for his episodes of lashing out the way he does.
So, he's a llort then ? grin

.... So Daears, Chat's little wifey should be sitting inside watching daytime soaps or baking cookies? grin

How demeaning, has it occurred to you that she may be more than happy to, and quite capable of, working with her husband to improve the value of their property?

All I ever see from you is pontificating from your porch about saving the planet although you're yet to reveal your contribution on this front

roll eyes
Oh serene,
Well said.
Couldn,t have put it better.
What a nassictic ,self opinionated, inflated egostistic a hole.
Looks like hard work...
No I,m on the right blog .You post so many You confuse yourself in your delerium.
I could add demensia
to the list I mentioned before.
Forever... yeah, it's so funny the attitudes of daears and flyme who complain about me and my blogs.

All the single/divorced women who raised children alone had to endure hardships... work hard labor jobs that were considered 'mans' jobs, plow fields and farm crops. Lets talk about that.
I don't see them complaining to EXRED who 'does a mans job' of building her shed or gardening.
Dual standard?
Ok Chat...
I will use me as an example:...
I'm a single mother of 2 boys, now men, since 1992.
We all live together on the same property,
and am trying to setup separate quarters for us all.
I'm busy painting the toilet, then the bathroom,
can't wait to see the finished product...
This is an ongoing job for quite a few months to come,
doing bits and pieces till all is done...

I work from home during the day, and do the private stuff after hours.

I have had No serious relationship during all this time...

I guess I'm a bit very fussy...
My next blog title: In praise of the working woman!

applause
Chat...
My ex is British, and I always worked, while he found some project, that never worked, that I had to fund. He ran off with his girlfriend, with half my money, as we were married in community of property (Stupid me). Nice life. I must start having a personality like that...
He is back in the UK now and is working for the first time, as his new wife is not as lenient as me...
Doing shores together makes it easier and faster - I hate some jobs and find it a lot easier if someone gives me a hand. wave
I enjoy cleaning with the pressure washer.
It is one of thise jobs that you cansee instantaneous results and that is very satisfactory.

As it is a damp climate here, the patio can go green with algae so I use an algae-remover first (non-toxic of course) and then hose to my heart's content joy joy
