I had to post because there is just too much to say here.

1. I love Filipina women. I think they are some of the most beautiful women in the world and I never met one I didn't like.

2. My grandmother's name was Ethel and she was a professional singer. There was too much coincidence here not to comment!

3. This woman is beautiful and her voice has great potential. It's a nice song. However she was singing out of tune and the song was painful to listen to. OUCHHHHHHHH ! Maybe she just had an off day.
Well, S. Good points. Some weren't exactly the sharpest knives in the drawer. So perhaps these enlisted men searched for and found false bargains. But I heard the complaints, and saw the household results for better clued officers, professionals and business types. Same push to populate the premises with immigrants, legal or mostly not. And while there may be some really hot Philippinas, the cheapness usually is very much on board, as with this bleach blonde "singer". VERY much. After a few years living with hubby in the real world, the midrib bulge, or worse get going, and whatever traces of beauty might have been there, are mostly gone. And listen to that language sometime. At higher decibels, it makes even German's guttural barking sound sweet. And I speak German. No, lots more to make oriental ladies, incredibly hot for some, much less so, with rare exceptions, for many Western men. But the food isn't bad.

And you misunderstand me totally. I actually believe Philippino women to be beautiful but for some of them because of poverty they get taken advantage of

One woman's view of being "taken advantage of" is another woman's view of an opportunity to escape poverty. Shouldn't each woman be able to determine for herself what is best for her without others imputing negative assessments of their decisions? Who is in a better position to determine what is right for an individual than that individual themself?
My observation of 'some' men thinking that because some of those women are in poverty they can offer to marry them but with no intention of treating them as equals is what I'm on about. That's the bit that I find distasteful. Not that they should or shouldn't marry or why.
You are still misunderstanding me or I'm not making myself understood...
If a man wants to marry and a woman wants to marry him for a reason they both agree on, who am I to judge their decision?
The only thing that shocks me is when he has no intention of treating her as an equal in the marriage....
For the rest of your last comment you are absolutely right!
I almost forgot because of the seriousness of the discussion re Pinays. I usually thank my first commenter but almost forgot it. @Miclee, thanks for being my first. banana wave yay heart wings teddybear bouquet
