The Night Sky

LONG and long ago in another life I lived on this beautyfull Island,
In thoes times we did not think about the night sky

I am in Zeeland spending Charismas with dear friends

We walk the Dogs just before going to bed

Then I saw the Night sky again after many years

Sometimes, when in the Philippines, at night I can see so many stars, it reminds me of my childhood, when street lights were not so powerful as todays, light pollution has removed the wonders of the night sky from a complete generation.

That is why I don't mind living where I do. The billion stars and quietness at night is worth giving up on the comforts of city life.
