What makes a chimera?
An animal chimera is a single organism that is composed of two or more different populations of genetically distinct cells that originated from different zygotes involved in s*xual reproduction. ... Chimeras are formed from at least four parent cells (two fertilised eggs or early embryos fused together).

Is this the future or current time at present?

I think of the Centaur (Sagittarius)...Most well known Chimera in Astrology...
Pig / Lion Mixes
Scientists generating human organs by creating Chimeras...It will truly not be human...if it's a mix, and then using it on humans, will create more Chimeras...

Who wants a half pig, etc heart and more?

Are we really that hard-up, or will you accept anything if you cannot find a human donor, just to keep living...is that life?

We already have people walking around with plastic and metal replacement joints, and the fact that those replacements aren't human doesn't seem to be an obstacle to our accepting them. Whether a "human organ" grown in another species can be truly classed as human is completely a matter of whether or not we say it can. Many people will have problems with that, though, and I can understand why.

I think that you will agree with me in saying, there is a vast different between a piece of metal or plastic, as opposed to a half/third/quarter animal part, being implanted in your human body?
I eat animals so why would I care about having their organs inside me if that helps me to have a longer or more productive life?
Hi Ek
All those proteins, which I mostly don't take part of, but my kids do.

Don't you think a Lion Heart, will do you much better than your current one? We will excuse the occasional role in the sand or a roar e.g.
Yes, snook, there is a difference, and the difference lies in our emotional response. I'm not sure there is a philosophical difference, though.

So what you are saying, it will depend from person to person, whether they can live with it or not.

How many people in your lifetime, had made a drastic decision, based on emotion, in a critical situation, and regretted it severely after?

Hi Harbal...
I have heard it said that all our decisions are emotional, snooks; I don't know. I certainly regret plenty of mine.

As far as making a decision that has kept you alive is concerned, I think only someone who is in that position is able to give a meaningful answer.

Very true indeed.

I guess I'm expecting you all to speculate, you being in the said circumstances…!
