My Ideal Valentine's Day
I'm obviously alone and working here
My jerk woke me up with nice Valentine greeting and virtual kisses, all I can have for Valentine's day. Though I have some dinner date invitations, I prefer to stay home and work ...and here I am, blogging!
If I'm with him , I would be up early preparing yummy breakfast, then bake some red velvet cake, heart-shaped, for our evening time in front of the TV. We will more likely go out to nice restaurant for dinner, then go for a short walk. Back home, we will be cuddling on the sofa watching movies then we will have some cake, fruits, chocolates and wine. My hands will be roaming all over him, I can touch anything else but I won't be allowed to unbuckle his belt if he's watching cricket
That's the kind of Valentine's Day I would have if he's around but not today. I'm here in Jordan , working and blogging at the same time, he's somewhere else having a beer and pizza watching cricket.
Single life is OK but life is so much more meaningful with a lover and loved ones around us.

Ideal Valentine's day for me when I forget that it is and am puzzled then pleased that he didn't
Here in Spain they say el amor y su importancia para la salud. And that it is a day to remember to say to all our padres, abuelos, hermanos, hijos y amigos how important they are to us - everyone who brings love and happiness to our lives, not just our partners. I have no idea what most of that means. My Spanish is not very good.
