Quarantine Day 8!

Another day, another quarantine blog!

So what has happened since the last time I checked in? The government has closed down gyms, malls, hair dressers, masseuses and tattoo artists. Any public or home gathering of more than 10 people is advised against. The only shops, that are allowed to be open, are grocery stores. When you are in a grocery shop, you have to stay at least 3 feet from another customer. No limit on food quantities yet, but it will happen soon, I think. Although, we are seeing less and less panic buying here, which is a good thing. Now we can actually get a daily life (quarantine edition).

To end this edition of "Quarantine Day", I would like to tell you a story. It's not gonna be long, but it's gonna be one where you go "....huh? What?!"

So, let me take you back to the day before yesterday. The Queen spoke to us, and we all listened. But before that, the PM had a press conference, where she underlined the things in the beginning of my blog. So, a hair salon decided to pull an all-nighter. They were open from 5 pm to 10 am. People could come and get a haircut all night long. That's not the part that makes you go "Wait, what!?"- This next part is!

So, you can imagine that with this in the public eye, there's gonna be some reactions. And there were. Most were praising the owners of the shop. Others, well not so much.. People actually began leaving death threats, calling them the scum of humanity and not thinking of others. "What about the risk of infection spreading? I hope you die in hell, cow!", was one of the threats.

It's not like they were gathering 500 people in the same room. No, people were let into the salon one by one. After each haircut, they made sure to sanitize the entire salon. They wore gloves and protective masks, which was replaced after every customer.

For the life of me, I can't understand, WHY people would send death threats to other people, who have bills to pay. I can understand it, if they were extremely careless, but they were taking extreme precautions. I applaud the hair salon for doing this. People need to eat and pay bills.

People need to chill, man.
