I'm in Love........with a woman already in a relationship, in fact a few of them.
And this isn't the first time. Now, before you scold me, this time it's different.The other times, the gals were at least separated from their husband.
In this instance, she spends a lot of her time less than 2 feet from her partner. Well, that hasn't stopped me, even though she doesn't even know, that I exist. I guess you might call this a case of unrequited love.
But, it gets a little weirder. Because I've never even met her and she's in her 30's.
Plus, I don't love all of her, just her voice.
I'd like you to meet Rachel Price and this is where I first 'met' her;

Magical voice.
I appreciate.
Thanks
Being in love with someone that does not know you exists is coo coo......
She was born in Australia and originally inspired at the age of 8 by a recording of Ella Fitzgerald.
Here's a bonus. Indeed, it was an encore.
And despite, not the best microphone acoustics, it contains some excellent scat singing.
'The Very Thought of You'
and it features Rachael's vocals and Jon Baptiste's piano.
The song has become a standard. Here Rachael really plays with the melody, stretching her range.
From Jazziz;
“All of Me,” is arguably the most famous composition by Gerard Marks and Seymour Simon. The songwriting duo composed it in 1931. That year, it was first recorded by actress and singer Ruth Etting, also known as “America’s sweetheart of song.”
After making its radio debut, “All of Me” was picked up by many artists, including the Count Basie Orchestra and various vocalists, such as Russ Columbo, Bing Crosby to Billie Holiday.
From Wikipedia;
"The Very Thought of You" is a pop standard that was recorded and published in 1934 with music and lyrics by Ray Noble. The song was first recorded by Ray Noble and His Orchestra with Al Bowlly on vocals for HMV in England in April 1934. This record was then released in the United States by Victor, and it reached number one on the pop music charts.
It is Rachel with essentially 3 members of her high school band, Lake Street Dive.
I'm not real fond of them. Rachel is the shooting star of it, that has gone much further.
But, she does still sing with them on occasion. Here she promotes 3 songs written
by those members in that band in a Tiny Desk concert. I like these concert series,
in a tiny space, which have featured such excellent musicians, as Robert Cray and Alicia Keys in others.
Carol's claim to fame was lyrics that touch the heart.
Rachael's vocals are far superior to Carol's on the original.
Here it is;
'So Far Away'
Here is 'Hypotheticals'
