Job interview and the Air Force came by my house.

Yesterday was the 4th of May, Remembrance of the Dead. In that honor, the Danish Air Force decided to do a fly-over, to mark the occasion. Two of their F-16 Fighting Falcon jets made several passes, right over my house. I love the whoosh that the jet engines make! One was just a regular air force color, while the other looked like this:

The Danish flag! Super patriotic, I know! Anyway, the call sign of this particular jet is E-191. Both jets were super low to the ground. We are talking about 600 metres, or close to that anyway! It's always a fantastic sight to see E-191 in the air. It's being dubbed "The fastest Dannebrog in the World", which is not far from the truth.

Today is the 75th anniversary of Liberation Day. Therefore, the Danish flag is waving from buses and all government buildings. Today also marked the day, where I went to my first real job interview since January 2018! The interview went very well! The job is part time, around 15 hours or so a week, but I have the opportunity to take more shifts, if I want to. Might even do double shifts as well. The job is fairly easy to do: I man the phones and emails, and I have to respond to customer queries about their shopping. It could be something like the items they ordered never arrived, or that some of the items they received were rotten or broken. Emails are also like that. So it's just basic customer service, with no sales. It is exactly the kind of job I am looking for.

I will get a reply on Monday if I have secured the job, but the way the conversation went, I am 99% sure that I am getting it. The conversation was light, full of laughs and extremely positive vibes, so it would really surprise me if I didn't get the job.

We'll see what happens!
