Yup! And those checkout cashiers at the stores too! applause applause applause

Hi BW wave
And what about the shoppers who risk their lives to go out and buy that stuff, BW. Let's give them a round, too. applause
In my opinion "Thank You" should be said more often, whenever there is an exchange, that benefits someone. When both benefit, both should say Thank you.
Thank you for the reminder. tip hat
That’d be me and my Arty! grin

I always thank everyone. includes which includes the truckers each time I've seen one,the ones who stocks the selves, the cashiers and the pretty much everyone.
Darn right they should. They can't eat in restaurants and they can't go through drive-thrus to get their food yet they still manage to get the job done. Amazing people.

My post to you Harbal"Long before the virus came about I never once heard anyone ever say Thank You to any trucker who delivers the stuff to the stores.
Well are you always there when they deliver stuff, BW?

No I don't always see them when I'm at the stores but I've seen a lot of them at the rest stops and make a point to tell them "Thank You" when I do.My older brother and his daughter were both truck drivers so I can only imagine what they must go through.
Well I have done quite a bit of delivering to stores, BW, and most of the time it wouldn't be difficult to make the delivery without having to be close to anyone else. Especially if measures are in place to make that the case, and I am sure they will be.
Harbal I meant the truckers I don't always see when I'm at the store.
Well we are certainly relying on them, BW, that's true.
Truckers? thumbs up
We're lost without them.

I saw that Kroger commercial.

Every essential worker needs to be recognize around the WORLD.

I am only essential to my own needs (staying at home). banana
I re-saw the commercial on the tv like the one I posted about on May 8th in regards to asking my question of "Why aren't truckers also thanked since they make sure the stores have the necessary grocery items to be purchased by the customers who shop in them.

While pulling into a rest stop the other day I had meant to make a stop at that particular rest stop to tell a particular truck driver a huge "Thank You" for all he/she does in making it possible for the items I purchase but I didn't get that chance cause they began driving away as I was about to pulling along side them.Oh well I'll just Thank the next person.
