Little Richard Dies at 87

Little Richard, a founding father and pioneer of rock and roll, has died.

He was 87.

His son, Danny Penniman, confirmed the death to Rolling Stone but revealed that the cause of death is unknown.

Little Richard’s biggest hits include “Tutti Frutti,” “Long Tall Sally,” and “Lucille.

He was one of the few I never saw perform live on stage back in the 50's. His music was a big part of my youth however.
Little Richard was the epitome of R&R.
Sad day.sigh
He was an influence on the Beatles and McCartney indicates, that he took the yelps in his performances from Little Richard.
