6 Times !

There once was a religious young woman who went to Confession. Upon entering the confessional, she said, 'Forgive me, Father, for I have sinned.'

The priest said, 'Confess your sins and be forgiven.'

The young woman said, 'Last night my boyfriend made mad passionate love to me 6 times.'

The priest thought long and hard and then said, 'Squeeze 6 lemons into a glass and then drink the juice.'

The young woman asked, 'Will this cleanse me of my sins?'

The priest said, 'No, but it will certainly wipe that devilish grin off of your face.' scold

Confession was normally Friday afternoon and I knew a girl who asked the priest if could be moved to Sunday morning!
More fresh in her memory that way ? laugh
There is a reason for confession on Friday...
If you commit a sin after confession and receive communion, your soul will go straight to hell. Do not pass go and do not collect $200.
Then hell will be full of catholics, unless they take confessions very early Sunday morning laugh
laugh that is funny.

I never understood the "confession" bit.

My parents also told me that if you want something to remain confidential take it to the Lord in prayer.

I attended a Catholic school and never went into the confession booth.

I took it to the Lord in prayer. laugh
Hopefully, it was silent prayer. laugh
They should of been confessing to al about the kids they were touching up.
M - Perhaps the priests did confess those sins.....to other priests......and vice versa.
