that's not something I'm willing to defend
Good for you in keeping a positive attitude...at work my co-workers laugh at me and my other colleague regarding hearing...many various accents make it difficult to hear not to mention when we don face masks...getting older...lol...
Living in a fairly isolated village still on lockdown, I haven't really had to deal with that yet.
Hard to lip read for sure...I do manage to annoy patients...always saying...what?...lol...
But they get it...
One says, "Pardon?", not "What?".
