Profiles can be absolutely honest and still not tell the whole story. Example - let's call her, hmmm, Tigress? That would be appropriate
I am in my late 50s, obviously this is not my current photo but I think when we meet or talk on webcam you will agree the years since have been kind. I've talked to some very dodgy people in my time online but so far, as best I know, not a serial killer - but how would you know? We all ask for honesty - online honesty may be the truth, and nothing but the truth, but not all the truth

Both their families were horrified the lost loved one could be replaced so instead they spent alternating weekends at each other’s homes (about 2 hours drive apart), went on holidays together, and that worked out so well they've still an item 10 years down the line. They're older now, of course, late 70s and both living in retirement homes near their respective families.
