Barr says Trump has fired US attorney Berman
Attorney General Bill Barr said that President Donald Trump has fired Geoffrey Berman, the US attorney for the Southern District of New York who has prosecuted several Trump cronies and is investigating a number of associates of the President, including Pompeo, & Giuliani.
However, Berman says he's not going anywhere until the senate confirms a replacement.
The investigations of Trump's will continue uninterrupted in the meantime.

Turns out his office refused to follow up on repeated requests from the Ukrainian prosecutor general in 2018(well before impeachment) to review evidence that the Ukrainians had in relation to Biden-Burisma scandal, as well as evidence they had that proved that the 'black ledger' which was touted as a big scandal in 2016 had actually been falsified (and so actually constituted election interference by Democrat Party allies in Ukraine).
