Why I am not political on here.
Like many, I follow politics in America, the world and my own country a lot. I have opinions and thoughts, but I am keeping them to myself. Seeing that I am open about pretty much anything, I flat out refuse to write anything political here - because I know how much of a hornets nest I will stir up, if I write about anything political.Instead, I am just blogging about random things that happen to me in my daily life, of which there are a LOT of things going on at the moment. From family issues to friendships. Some of it is entertaining, whilst other things are just.. Well, weird..

Lafonda - I am non-political here because I know my opinions will spark a TON of drama in the comments, which I really want to avoid. That is the only reason I am not political
It's a good thing that you are the way you are and this blogging section is a free platform for anyone that chooses to use it, not just for political bores or people who repeat the news which we've already seen!
Your English writing and grammar is superb so take no notice of the put-downs and keep being yourself!
But you are right, politics is a controversial topic so if you do talk about politics you should expect that other people might have different views and challenge your views. Some people can dish it out, but they can't take it. They get all bent out of shape if they express a view and someone takes exception to it. So if that bothers you, you should talk about something else, not politics because politics is about DEBATE.
I don't have any problem with people who don't want to talk about politics. The people I have a problem with are those who try to control what other people can and can not talk about.
