I love these type of stories
I miss my cat that I’ve left behind in Malaysia with my daughter
I have always had affectionate kittens/cats and many just follow me around the house and on walks. I've always let them sleep indoors and had them neutered and spayed. I did have a cat who used to catch a ball and bring it back. Another used to steal things from other peoples gardens and houses and bring them back. He once brought back one trainer pulling it by the laces, all sorts of gifts for me.
Thanks for lovely story. Nice to hear some other bloggers like Cats too. Many people hate them.
@Vier, I see you really love girls! Kidding aside, dogs and cats have unique contrasting traits but the mommas do show the human side of rearing their babies.
@Jim, I also love videos like this than seeing tik toks.
@General, the happiness we derive from having pets is incomparable. Just sad I don't have the resources and opportunity right now. Just contented surfing the net and watching videos like this.
Funny how the timing of you four, watched and commented on the link. You seem to have the same time frame! But I do thank all of you and the rest who watched the link. starting today, the night shift in the factory will be at work and so I'd be off to work. Hopefully, everything will turn out good. For months now, it's nice to be receiving the money without having to flex a finger but good times do have some endings. Wish me luck, though. Thanks to the four of you and those who enjoyed watching the links I keep on sharing.
The next morning we found another baby that was just born but it died almost immediately. The other one I was feeding also died.
And for the 3rd day in a row she had another. This one was just born and very strong so I grabbed it up right away. Unfortunately despite doing everything I could this one also didn't survive.
I hate to see anything or anyone innocent suffer and so took it pretty hard. I contemplated putting the mama cat to death, but I also understood she didn't know any better so I didn't follow through. The mama cat bled a lot for a couple days and I was hoping she couldn't get pregnant again.
Two days ago that same cat dropped another baby by the front door. And again was ignoring it while another cat was batting it around on the ground. I chased the other cat away from the baby. I was not willing to go through what I went through the last time and decided to let nature take it's course. It started lightly raining and the mama cat came up and picked up the baby and carried it over to my truck and dropped it under it. I went into the house after that. The next day I found only the head of the baby kitten.
Yesterday I noticed the mama cat was skinnier and hadn't been around as much, so I figured she had the rest of her litter and hoped she was taking care of them. I did a little looking and found where she has them. I'm not going to risk disturbing her and having her reject them so I will be steering clear of them for the time being.
She is obviously Feral and very often the males kill them so that the female will go on heat again.
Mama Cats kill their off spring or else ignore them when they are weak and sick, it sounds cruel but it is natures way of not expending so much energy on a kitten that will not survive. That poor cat needs to see a vet and get spayed.
Art is a very very clean man. Very tidy.
However, his fitted bedsheet folding skills are totally out!!
My dear Arty, if you’re reading this....
