Trump has moved on with his life and think he can just wish the pandemic away.
Citizen are getting mix messages from the scientist and Trump.
Some people are tired of being quarantined and just want to get out and party.
I say open the USA and let the chips fall where they may.
Sweden did that and their death rate is very high.
Maybe that is the way to decrease the population and save the earth. idk.

A lot could also be attributed to those not following the guidelines - social distancing, masks etc.
since you may follow proper procedures, but others will not.
However, IF they would social distance & wear masks, that would certainly help.
Part of the problem is Trump's lack of leadership, not wearing a mask, and constant urgings,
that it is safe and to open up quickly.
The idea that Covid will slow down world wide growth rate is equally flawed. Covid kills off the the wrong age group to achieve that end.
IN the era of Trump the south may well rise again - just in time to raise high the Confederate Flag once more..
He's certainly trying his 'best'.
The nationwide deaths dropping, is due mostly to NY & NJ cases dropping to a small level.
