I think I might have messed up my hand.. Whoops..
Today, I was told to report to a school, for some janitorial tasks. It is a school I know well, because I spent a few months there as a youth center worker. So I arrive and I get told, to take a seat and relax. The tasks would begin shortly. So I plant my rear in a chair, and wait. 30 minutes later, the work begins. First order of business: Clean underneath some grates. I was up for that, so I went into a shed, to get a crowbar. I am not alone during the tasks. The janitor is also there, so we are lifting up the grate together. Now, this sucker is HEAVY! Like, properly heavy. At least 50 kilos. We get this lump of steel up against the wall, and it is then I feel a sharp pain in my right hand. I ignore it and start shoveling the dirt into a black bin bag. The pain is still there. I think to myself, that it will pass. But it didn't. When I use my hand, it's not hurting. But when I make a fist with my hand, then it hurts. I hope it's nothing serious, since I need to report at the school tomorrow, for more janitorial duties.
If my hand is still hurting tomorrow, I am calling my doctor to get their suggestion as to what to do. Hopefully they don't say "E.R". That would REALLY mess up my day even more.

a crack in one of the bones in your hand.
Either way, perhaps give that hand a rest and let it heal for a week or two
and then see how it feels. Is there any swelling ?
