A trip to the E.R.

It's day three with my hand being in pain. Pain killers didn't really help, so I called up the hotline again, which I was ordered to do yesterday. Well, not ordered.. Or.. Yeah, you could say ordered.. Anyway!

I explained what my level of pain was, and how I managed to get to that stage. The nurse on the other end of the phone, said it might have been a strain, which I suspected as well. She then said, that I was booked in from 10 am on a hospital about an hour from me.

This is what I feared would happen. Now I get to enjoy the Danish health system first hand (no pun intended). There will probably be a few people there, with more severe issues than mine. It's just a hand, not a lung or a broken bone. I am in pain, but not scream-out-loud pain, so I don't really mind waiting. I just don't hope they keep me waiting all day.
