Drip down, O heavens, from above, And let the clouds pour down righteousness. Isaiah 45:8

Alright, so I don't usually use a Bible verse to title a blog, but today is the exception. You might ask yourself "Has Philipsen gone truly mad?".. Well.. No.. Not yet.. I mean, I might be a bit weird, but I am definitely not mad. Anyway..

For days and days, they promised rain and thunder here. They even warned, that a torrential downpour was possible. For several days now.. Nothing came.. Until today! You see, I was at work, being busy as always. Picking things for Sweden, I think. I then heard the unmistakable sound of drops on the roof. Then another. And another. And then - the Heavens opened, and rain fell HARD from the sky. So hard, that it drowned out the radio, forcing a coworker and I to shout to each other, even though we are 6 feet apart. The rain lasted for about an hour or so (at least, that's what I think it did). My break was in the middle of the downpour, so I sat in the staff room, looking out. At that point, dear reader, I felt some kind of presence. One of those "Everything is going to be alright" type of presence. I am no Bible expert, so I don't know if there is anything in there that explains that presence. I trust at least one of you will enlighten me, if there really is such a thing in the Bible.

Tomorrow is gonna be a good day as well, I can feel it!

Toodles!

Philipsen ~ Don't worry what others think. What do you think, in your gut about what happened. Your creator is with you in spirit at all times. It is when you are at your very lowest that the holy spirit [the essence , the healer ] is by your side.

Sometimes a piece from the Bible can just come in to your head, or suddenly you feel a calm come over you.... it is healing and uplifting and everything will be alright Philpsen for you. I promise.
Work hard, save hard and get yourself a place to live where you can feel it is home.

When I lost my home in 80s through no fault of my own. I had to move in to a bedsit which is one room with a shower and loo in another room. It was clean and bright and I was very very happy there. It was modest and I made friends there I still have to this day. So I have no doubt things get better from here on in.

cheers
Hi glad u got your rain.happiness will grow.
The weather delay could be because of your blasphemy the other day Phil...
If a person is engrossed mainly or wholly in themselves there is little chance of inner happiness. If a person concerns themselves with other people too, then friendships can evolve and happiness ensues. If you do something for someone else knowing that they will be pleased with you and reward you in some way, that is a false pretence and your happiness is short lived, similar to a sugar fix. If you tell people about a good deed which you have done knowing that they will admire and congratulate you, that is wrong too. If you invite advice and receive it, and don't acknowledge it, that is not right. If Empathy doesn't come naturally to you, it is worth experimenting, learning how to do it. Start by being nice to shop keepers, you will feel better if they smile and are nice back to you, this can build to make a good day. Never complain. Don't get angry with people, your attitude may have caused the problem which you now find yourself facing. Look for solutions to diffuse and rectify the problem. Be pro-active, happiness will be the natural result.
