“The Obama Addiction”

What in the hell is “the Obama Addiction!?”

It is when a celebrity obsessed-media society is addicted to our new president, Barack Obama.

They report on him endlessly because he is a news making figure.

He’s interesting, popular, newsworthy, and provides higher ratings. The media is making money and getting more business.

Both his supporters and haters are obsessed with him. Their obsessions are turning into addictions of the forty-fourth president.

Could this new contagious trend be harmful? Yes, if you let it get too far!

To the supporters that drop everything just to see him speak. Stand in long lines to get a ticket to his events.

Overlook everything, including the mistakes and campaign promises that he puts on hold.

Believes he will change the whole world overnight. Thinking he’s a super hero (Think about the latest jibjab dispiction of Obama) or superman.

Cries and defend Obama no matter what the situation, even if the constructive criticism is reasonable.

To the haters, bash and criticize Obama always, no matter what it is. No matter how small, good or stupid. (Think Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity) Jealous and envy the man himself.

Comparing Obama to over the top characters or people like Hitler or the Anti-Christ. (Is there even such a thing?) Maybe the Devil=Anti-Christ? (Wasn’t the Anti-Christ suppose to be against the people? The last we check, Obama was for the people!)

Go out looking for Obama related articles or videos on progressive sites just to rant out bitter-sore-loser-hateful-rhetoric, even when they don’t know the man at all or don’t know the whole story or the truth of the situation. Protesting and teabagging about big government, socialist, communist, marxist policies, anti-tax on the little people. (Only they know the truth about the big, bad, wolf or the liberal media on Obama)

Believing whatever extreme right-wing loony, conspiracy theory that they pull out any given time.

So yes, “the Obama Addiction” is very harmful if you don’t moderate it carefully.

If you are a supporter of Obama, give him time and a chance to achieve his goals.

He won’t be able to do it overnight, ya know. He even said so himself.

That it will take time and change will be hard. It’s only been like a year into a four year term! It’s not the middle or ending yet!

If he mess up or put campaign promises on hold, don’t go all ballistic on him!

Keep your cool and take a wait and see approach until enough time has gone by, then bring your constructive criticism.

It you are a hater, the same thing goes for you.

But in most cases, haters aren’t reasonable people to reason with.

You don’t know him personally. All you do know is the media caricature of Obama.

A lot of people that don’t like him, hate him, for whatever reason (Whether it’s jealousy, envy, ignorance, racism, stupidity, misinformed opinions or beliefs)

We heard a lot of these people say that they don’t care. If you don’t care then why are you paying attention or interested in Obama? Why are you keeping in the know about the latest events with him in the media?

If you didn’t care or could care less, then you wouldn’t even bother reading about him or watching him on tv, right?

So in that instance, you must love to hate him. You’re addicted. You’re obsessed. You are suffering from a twisted addiction to Obama!

To those people that are neither haters or fan-obsessed with him, then good for you, because you are in the right position that you need to be in!

You don’t mind giving your president chances to do what he said he was going to do.

You will give constructive criticism when you need to. You pay attention for the right reasons. And you are informed and know what is going on.

There’s a simple solution in getting over “the Obama Addiction.”

And it’s by treating him like you would any other person, like yourself.

I am informed and know what's going on. I pray he doesn't do what he said he was going to do. I pray he's stopped. When he fails, America wins.
Holy bible Daniel 11:0. Then shall stand up in his estate a raiser of taxes in the glory of the kingdom: but within few days he shall be destroyed, neither in anger, nor in battle.
21. And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries. 28. Then shall he return into his land with great riches; and his heart shall be against the holy covenant; and he shall do exploits, and return to his own land. Who does that sound like ?
