Finally Mom will get to see Dad
On the 15th my Mom is allowed to see Dad in the nursing home for 30 minutes but no one else can go in with her. Different homes have different rules. The facility has NO covid cases but if one should pop up there will be another lock down. Mom will have to stay 6 feet away from Daddy and can never touch him so no kissing and those two old farts loved to kiss. They kissed a lot. Hell they made all of us brats into kissers too. Bella always wears a big lipstick kiss on her tiny noggin.One of my BFFs from 40 or 50 yrs ago has entered a home and doesn't look like she will be coming out. I'm still close friends with her daughter, the one that is a paranormal investigator for the last 30 years...anyway her mother;s nursing home allows her to take a plus one but an appointment has to be made. She asked me to go because she thinks it may be the last time we get to see each other. I'm in numb mode so I'm not feeling anxiety or whatever, a little sorrow maybe.
My son pranked me the other day. I had Mom, Bro & Sis over for dinner when he faced time me so he could talk to every one while we were earing then I look up and he is standing right next to me. He made me think he was a hundred miles away in Orlando where he lives. Anyways what a nice warm fuzzy family event over labor day. My grandson was close last time but this time he got taller than me. I think I'm shrinking.

I would tell her when she goes to see him, to kiss his face off.
If anything happens to him in the meantime, whilst she's waiting till its safe to do so.....
she will regret she never did, when the chance to do so was hers.

I think your friend has an amazing attitude about the future, very positive in thinking that there are still good memories to be had.Only a select few people seem to be able to love with no holds barred.
