Whacked in the Gulf... again

Hurricane Sally strikes the Alabama coast this morning as a category 2 storm with 105mph winds, landing right between Mississippi and the panhandle of Florida.

According to the National Hurricane Center, "The slow-moving storm could dump up to 35 inches of rain in some areas."

Seriously, that's a LOT of rain !
Jim, I read the storm was moving at 3 miles per hour and more than a day of it dumping water on coastal areas that had no means of drainage.
Is there any way to steer that thing over to California ? grin
Let me get out my Sharpie! laugh
We need some rain.to clear out all the smokey skys.
