The Vice President debate
I think this debate will be much better than the horrendous presidential debate.Yeah, I know that by itself is not saying much, as Trump said WAY too much,
constantly interrupting Biden.
Honestly, I believe I would have also retorted "Will you just shut up man."
I believe we will see a lot less of such childish rudeness, as demonstrated by Trump.
Perhaps there will better moderator controls to ensure so this time.
Unfortunately for Pence, he will not be in defense of his own lack of activity.
Instead, he will be forced to attempt to defend Trump's horrendous behavior,
which is impossible to do. Nonetheless, it will be interesting to see the 2
debate each other.
If Pence was on a witness stand and Kamala was questioning him (something that may take place in February), Pence would not stand a chance. She would eat him alive. But, she won't be asking
the questions. They will be prepared questions asked by a moderator. It will be
interesting to see him attempt to defend Trump horrible 3+ years as the worst
president in US history.
However, I think it will be much more civil, than the travesty we saw with Trump.
But, I am sure there will be some arguing also.
The debate between the candidates begins at 9 pm eastern standard time Wednesday night.

This Veep Debate May have greater than usual significance
and because of the ages of both of the presidential candidates, the VP, including their age, is important. Plus, Trump already served a term, if he somehow won, it would be his last term. So, could Pence run in 2024 ? Biden has indicated, that he just wants to right the ship and then step down in 2025. So, how presidential is Kamala. Both will be remembered for how they behave at this debate.
If "Beijing Biden" wins, we can get Fargo/Confucius to teach us Chinese as a 2nd Language ...

Both came off being reliably Vice Presidential -
Touted/defended policies of the guy at the Top of their ticket.
Pence certainly did better than Trump, but that's not saying much.
It also seemed that his left eye was red. It could be pink eye, which about 30%
of Covid-19 patients experience. It might mean, that he's infected. Time will tell.
From my perspective, Harris was the clear winner.

Fact checkers have proven Pences straight out lies..This debate isn't going to change anything it never was going to change the fact that the Biden / Harris campaign is way ahead of Trump & Pence..The Democrats are going to own the House / Senate & the White House

The remark/implication went unacknowledged/unchallenged by Harris.
It May suggest internal polling of Both campaigns indicates a significant probability The Don will get a 2nd Term. ...
@miclee on the contrary - in politics one does not want to predict a win, lest it results in lazy voters staying home.
Note that I said both campaigns' "INTERNAL Polling" - Not the stuff of Media Polls & Certainly not to be spread about (hence the term - Internal Polling).
Pence using the phrase "If .. Somehow Win" & Harris letting it slide may've Unintentionally slipped that Polling by Both campaigns indicate a Win for The Don.

That it "slipped" more than once might suggest it was Not Unintentional.
Pence Might've gotten a cut on Harris by bringing up her prosecution/incarceration record among minorities.

Kamala Harris is, beyond a doubt, the clear winner..

At first glance, it appears Pence is simply enjoying a meal with his wife, Karen, and one of their daughters. In fact, he captioned the image as such.
“Busy weekend in NY!” he wrote. “Enjoying a quick dinner with the family at @Chilis. Looking forward to getting back to Indiana.”
But on closer inspection, it appears that his daughter doesn’t have a reflection in the mirror that the trio is sitting beside. Take a look for yourself. Pence’s reflection? Check. His wife’s? Check. But his daughter’s? Hmmm, nope.
