Looking for a place to live is stressful!

It is not a secret, that I want to move into my own place. However, given how little I get paid per month, it's extremely hard to find my own place, unless I want to wait for 9-12 years. There are places where I don't have to wait at all, but they require a bit more money than I currently have saved up. So I am looking to find a room somewhere, preferably in Copenhagen. I would love to be close to the city, and I have found a few rooms there. We'll see how it goes and where I find one.

My absolute max budget is 5000 per month, but I am sure I can find something at that price. A few have sprung out, so I will message them in a bit. I can feel I need to get away from here, asap. So many things happening here, mainly arguments, walking on eggshells and the like.

It's not fun living here anymore.

Good advice od. Also, the presence or absence of a criminal record, drug & alcohol usage, smoking, references, and amount of money in the bank.
Good to see ya back Phil, i thought you may have got sick for a while after your last blog i didn't realize you have already had covid.. The new room is not working out so good, well i'm sure you will find another room with better flat mates..
I have no idea the situation by you. But, one of my tenants had owned a pull behind camper that he lived in at a campground. Of course you need a car to pull it. Unless you are able to buy a little camper and have it parked for you. Just a thought.
Ooby: Ah yes, I forgot to do the conversion laugh. Sorry about that. 5000 Danish kroner, which is around $787. I live with a friend - which is the single biggest mistake I have ever made. I have a reliable source of income of $1338 per month, no pets. I don't smoke, throw parties or fighting with mates. I don't really listen to music that loud, but I do like to sing, which I do badly. But once I begin my training to become a truck driver, my income should be bigger.

Jim: No drugs here. At all!

Butcher: I never had Covid :)

Orzzz: In order to get a car, I need a license, which I don't have. I have actually thought about buying a piece of land, and then build my own home out of old shipping containers. You can make some fantastic homes out of that!

Phil, I see both positives and negatives in your words.

Positives:
You don't smoke.
You have no pets.
You make decent money.
You're not a party animal not a fighter, or into loud music.

Negatives:
No car or license. Depending on where you hope to locate a car may be essential to get to work. I would be worried about having to drive you to work everyday, been there, done that. Also, as a former truck driver I will say your chances of getting a job driving a commercial vehicle with a new license and no experience is pretty slim. I'm sure Nam would agree with me.
