Just prior to planting the flag at the summit.....tomorrow ?
Just 6 electoral votes short of the 270 needed to become the 46th US president
and leading in Nevada, a state that Hillary Clinton won in 2016, a state that has 6 electoral votes, the path to victory seems just a day away. While not taking it for granted,
Joe Biden has a consistent message to all Americans;
Today from the New York Times;
In response to:
Speaking in Delaware, Biden says it’s ‘clear’ he will reach 270 electoral votes.
WILMINGTON, Del. — Joseph R. Biden Jr. on Wednesday said it was “clear” that he would reach 270 electoral votes and win the presidency, though he stopped short of claiming victory.
“I’m not here to declare that we’ve won, but I am here to report that when the count is finished, we believe we will be the winners,” Mr. Biden said in a speech at an event center in Wilmington.
After President Trump said in the early morning hours that vote counting should be halted, Mr. Biden offered a strikingly different message, paying tribute to democracy.
“Here, the people rule,” he said. “Power can’t be taken or asserted. It flows from the people. And it’s their will that determines who will be the president of the United States, and their will alone.”
Mr. Biden added that “every vote must be counted.”
“No one’s going to take our democracy away from us,” he said. “Not now, not ever.”
And in a continuation of one of the broad themes of his campaign, Mr. Biden offered a unifying message for the American people.
He said that the presidency “is not a partisan institution” and promised, “I will work as hard for those who didn’t vote for me as I will for those who did vote for me.”
“My friends, I’m confident we’ll emerge victorious,” Mr. Biden said. “But this will not be my victory alone or our victory alone. It will be a victory for the American people, for our democracy, for America. And there will be no blue states and red states when we win — just the United States of America.”

Well said Joe. It seems your cognitive skills and respect for democracy and people in general are far superior to your rival's.

It will also be nice to see a couple that likes to hold hands, kiss, and ENJOY each other's company. Also, you won't see Jill Biden wearing any jackets stating "I don't care. Do you ?"
You won't see a policy of children being separated from their parents at the border either.
It will be terrific to experience normalcy again.
The votes aren't even all counted yet and Biden set an election record nationwide for the number of people that voted for him.
Numbers of Voters in some Milwaukee Wards exceeded 200% of 2020 Registered Voters.
In some of the Wards just the number of BIDEN votes exceeded the Voter Registration number.
The "Same Day Registration Explanation" - supposedly new voters didn't appear on the Voter Rolls. ...
It's figured that would've necessitated adding 900,000 New Voters in the Entire State (let alone Milwaukee Wards) IN A SINGLE DAY ... A Most Singular and Remarkable accomplishment!
'Course, if it's All on the Square, there's No Harm letting Investigative Reporters INVESTIGATE & REPORT, eh?
We Like Investigative Reporters, don't we?
Of Course we do! . ... Luvvin' on Investigative Reporters
Just imagine they're investigating a POTUS's links to Russia ... Or China
You just displayed Monumental Ignorance of how voting is done.
Had the voter mailed in the ballot, his/her name would've been recorded as having voted.
Should the same voter show up at the polls, state his/her name, address, & present the required photo ID - The polling station folks would've looked up his/her name and discovered he/she Had Already Voted.
Lots of smoke and mirrors...conservatives grasping at straws...Biden will be President...
I confess that the hardest conversations I had Tuesday night were with my daughters. I so badly want to tell them that all is going to be OK, that we’ve been through bad patches as a country before. And I hope that will turn out to be the case — that whoever wins this election will draw the right conclusion that we simply cannot go on tearing one another apart.
But I could not, in all honesty, tell them that with any confidence. I am certain “the better angels of our nature” are still out there. But our politics and our political system right now are not inspiring them to emerge at the scale and speed that we so desperately need

Regardless, it will be a relief, when Biden is finally officially victorious.
Trump is a coward, hiding behind the skirts of Presidential protection. The sooner he faces court indictments the better. He won't be able to wriggle out of a real justice system thank god.
