Stick it up your nose...
Stick it up your nose to prevent a COVID-19 infection.I read a story that Columbia University researchers have developed a nasal spray that has successfully prevented COVID-19 infections. Interesting concept. It's not a vaccine but a lipopeptide (lipid and peptide combination) that blocks coronavirus from fusing with the cells membrane. The effects for a dose have lasted 24 hours.
Initial tests were successful and it will require human clinical trials, so it's not likely to go public soon, but there's always the chance should it go into production it would be successful in limiting the spread of the virus.
Just stick it up your nose!

If nasal sprays are being developed in more that one setting, I can only assume they're on to something.
Perhaps if people feel uncomfortable about vaccination, as many people do, it may provide another pathway and some personal choice.
Until then, I'll protect myself from people, places, and things.
Our nasal spray being developed as a vaccine is for the nose & mouth.
We came up with it first
If it's a surgical mask, take a tissue, fold it in quarters and place it under the mask.
I've found the surgical masks have fibers that make my nose itchy.
The tissue cures the problem.
What kind of mask? (disposable paper or cloth)
How long/many times do you wear it before disposal or washing?
Mouthwash and or-al hygiene should also be considered.
I know one guy who complains about a mask and sinus problems.
His bad breath can be detected 6 feet away.
Should I tell him the source of the trouble isn't his mask?
