why is it that american men are travelling to europe looking for a bride ??well most men interviewed say that american women are not up to the job,
as they do not take care of themselves the way european women do ,
they are loud and brash ,
and are not well educated, among a lot of other reasons ,,
and to be honest i some how agree with them , in europe women are more graceful not only in appearance
but also in most aspects of life ,they are well educated ,have a good understanding of world wide affairs
and plan well for the future,,,,
and why is this the case,, well only 10 percent of americans actually hold a passport ????
yet in europe virtually every one has a passport ,, hence europeans learn a lot more about culture and living,
where as the majority of americans only ever see america so can never compare with other ways of life ...

I know this is the case for many Anericans I know.
As for Europeans and mail order brides..
I know quite a few who have married Asian and Russian or Polish girls.
I remember when I talked to one American online once and he told me: "I'm an ordinary man, I live an ordinary life, I can't take a woman to expensive restaurants and buy her expensive gifts, I don't wear designer clothes and most women my age (he was 50 at that time) in my area want that. Or if they are not like that, then they don't take care of themselves at all.". Finding a nice woman who will be satisfied with what he has to offer - wasn't that easy for him, so he started searching for women from other countries.
I was always astonished by people who contact people from other countries in this age (with the internet and all the data available in many different languages) and still - don't even bother to look at the map.
The majority of the population of this planet generally live in ignorance.
A Japanese person: "You're lucky! All European people speak English".
Me: "Many people in Europe don't speak English at all or don't speak it well."
A Japanese person: "That's not true. All white people speak English".
Me: "Every European country has its own language and culture. English is a foreign language to us just like it is for you (apart from some countries like the UK or Ireland)."
A Japanese person: ??????????
Me: "Asia is a continent with many different countries and all of them have their own language and culture, right? Chinese speak Chinese, Koreans speak Korean, Japanese speak Japanese. Europe is also a continent that consists of different countries, so Germans speak German, Italians speak Italian, French speak French. English is just a foreign language we learn at school. Some speak it better, some worse, some don't speak it at all, because they don't need it in their everyday life".
A Japanese person: "Now I understand!".
There's also one interesting anecdote. While I was in Japan there were teachers from many different countries and all continents there. Some of them spoke only Japanese apart from their native tongue. For example, Russians didn't speak English at all. Once we were all together on one event and we were talking Japanese among us. And some Japanese approached us and told us: "What kind of pretending is this?! Why don't you speak English when you are all foreigners? Why do you speak Japanese?!". We tried to explain them that some of the teachers in the group didn't speak English (like Russians, for example) and that Japanese was actually our common tongue. But they didn't believe us! They truly thought that we just wanted to look cool.
The Slavic languages have many similar words.

The problem is that not all women want the role of mother and housewife, they have ambitions to do other things. Everybody benefits if they are allowed to pursue what they are interested in. Some men also don't want the traditional role, they are happy running the house and then others like jobs that were traditionally done by women, like nursing.
Just let people be what they want to be, most will choose the traditional role, that's fine. Some won't, that's fine too.
Everyone always says "let's respect our individuality, let everyone be who they are" and then - at the same time - they force all sorts of values, roles and accepted behavior on you. It makes no difference what is forced.
Then, again, we cannot live in the chaos - especially young people who still learn about themselves and the world. They need to have at least some role models.
It's not easy...
I see more american women only about themselves, wanting their cake, and eating it too. That doesn't mean I dismiss the fact that there are a great many males of the same mind-set. It is quite likely that a larger part of the american values that used to exist, may be no longer and eroding more all of the time.
I have to agree and admit, I myself have toyed with the idea and potential of a Russian bride. Or maybe Ukraine. Somewhere around those parts of the globe any way.
It's nothing I'm dead set on making a reality. As I look around and talk with people, I realize it's going to be worse than finding a needle in a haystack to find an actual full partner again.
Of course, I don't really think I ever had one before.
