"No Thanks"
During this pandemic, we have been home schooling both of my granddaughters (ages 6 and 3). This has been more difficult than expected but it has also been very rewarding to watch them learn and grow. Every weekend I set up the game plan for the upcoming week. I have found a few websites that have been very helpful and use them extensively. Then we add in some fun arts and crafts and I think overall, we're doing a good job.I have been having them listen to Christmas music the past few school days and thought it might be fun to have the two of them sing a couple of Christmas songs for their mom and dad. We could have our own little Christmas program and maybe make some treats and sing a few songs.
This morning, I pitched my idea to the 6 yr. old. I was met with a resounding "No Thanks".
The 3 yr. old is all excited and I'm hoping it rubs off on her sister but we'll see what happens. The little one wants to sing "Suzy Snowflake" so we'll work on it and maybe the 6 yr. old will end
up joining in. I just found it very disappointing.

I've no doubt you're right and she'll shine like a star....
what's that saying " it will be alright on the night"
Not enough effort is made by students at home.
A child was online and instead of listening he was sleeping.
