Anyway, what we have here in VENEZUELA, are "Ajíes dulces/Margariteños/Misteriosos) that are the most delicious little peppers in the world... If you ask any venezuelan what he or she misses from this blessed land, one thing they will mention are these peppers... The characteristic flavor they add to food is just to die for...
Yes... It's beautiful music, indeed... It's unreal the amount of wonderful music that is made by venezuelans... If you know any venezuelans where you live, you have to know that we are extremely happy, sweet and warm people and we start a party wherever we go...
The first video really touched my heart, because it's a tribute to a band that was over 75 years old... And the rhythms they plated were so many: Guaracha, cumbia, merengue, pasodoble, bolero... You name it... They always had a special performance in New Year's Eve... Such sweet memories...
Send this to that Rare Seeds company - Word For Word - as a testimonial ...
If THAT won't sell those seeds - NOTHING Will! ...
Given their appearance & such they're classified in the "Broader Type Scotch Bonnet"-
They are, However, a SWEET cultivar of the Scotch Bonnet TYPE ...

"Ají dulce, ají cachucha, quechucha, ajicito, or ají gustoso is any of a variety of sweet perennial peppers found in Latin America and the Caribbean. It is most widely known in Cuba, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic and Venezuela, where it refers to a specific native variety of Capsicum chinense that is related to the habanero but with a much milder, smoky flavor. In the English-speaking Caribbean, it is known as seasoning pepper and is essential to a variety of traditional dishes."
On account of being Virtual, you understand.
Q: I have seen two different spellings for Habanero Peppers. Is it : HABANERO OR HABAÑERO? I am willing to bet is Habanero, but then again, you know more than me. Thank you.
Luis Pinto
A: Hello Luis:
You are correct–there is no tilde over the n. It is a common mistake that even experienced chileheads make.
Confusion is understandable, as it quite widespread ...
I know - Right!!
I got relieved of an UNOPENED jar of Peanut Butter -
I guess it could be mistaken for some sort of explosive ...
I know a guy married to a Mexican gal.
They visited her folks & "smuggled in" a few seeds of a local hot pepper variety.
Put a few seeds in a shoe - They figured if the seeds were found, they could just say they'd just fallen in.
I got a few of the seeds - Definitely at the "Pain Is GOOD!" heat level ...
Score me a few of those seeds & it's worth a set of NON-virtual steak knives for ya -
I might even be talked into sweetening the deal with a Toaster! ...
I merely added that Confirmation for the benefit of those here who might've been tempted to foolishly Persist in their waywardness. ...
And that toaster? It's a FOUR Slice model.
AND ...
Think of the Fun you'll have slipping the caper into a conversation -
Casually, of course ...
Friend - "So how was your weekend, Melody?"
You - "Not much to tell - Did a bit of smuggling - You know ... The same ol' same ol' "
Friend -
Assuming you Don't routinely engage in smuggling, of course. ...
This is a go-to favorite if I Think I'M having a bad day ...
Always cracks me up
The 2nd to last one - The gal in pink - A woman after my own heart
Did you watch the video?... Did you like it?...
R-a-m-s-a-y...
I think I watched a video of RamsAy cooking a piece of "Monk fish", years ago, and it looked delicious...
I have never tried liver... Is it too bad?...
"In Puerto Rico where it is called ají dulce or ajicito, it is grown commercially and used for sauces, such as recaíto, sofrito, and mojito isleño, other fish or meat sauces, as well as stews, rice, and other local dishes.
Luvvin' on fish - Those peppers are sounding better all the time! ...
Another good one for fish - Fish Pepper (Kinda obvious) ...
The fish pepper is a pepper cultivar of the species Capsicum annuum. Originating in the Caribbean, it is believed that the fish pepper was brought to the U.S. in the 19th century, where it grew in popularity in the Mid-Atlantic (particularly in Baltimore and in Philadelphia). In these cities, the pepper became a popular ingredient among the Black community and was commonly used in many crab and oyster houses (hence the name "fish pepper")
Scoville Scale - 5,000–30,000 SHU (Moderate - I'd say Pleasant - level of heat. - Mick)
Rice, fish (Salmon?), blend of Aji Dulce & Fish Peppers - Could be, well ... FUN!
I don't follow recipes much - If it seems like it'll be "Fun", I'll give it a try ...
"Quick & Easy" is s Plus. Spending more time cooking than eating makes little sense. IMO.
Not having tried liver ... Keep a good thing goin', IMO.
