"One is the loneliest number you can ever do"

But, not when it's the number of days until the long awaited country-wide party. applause

Yes, as predicted, as anticipated, as about to be celebrated, tomorrow it's finally party time.
First the trash has to be taken out to make room for MUCH better stuff.
(Don't) pardon the current mess.

Unfortunately Jim, you are incorrect. It will not be country-wide. Over 70 million people don't agree with you.
We'll see what happens. I hope the country can bounce back but I don't have confidence that it will. I see higher taxes, higher gas prices and less money coming into my household - hopefully I'm wrong.
Oh, it will DEFINITELY be nationwide.
It may not include some grumpy insurgent losers, but MOST of the people will be ready to party and welcome the change ! dancing
Certainly the rich ARE going to have to pay higher taxes,
due to the large increase in national debt from gross mismanagement over the last 4 years.
However, the majority of workers are going to experience increases in wages and net income after the pandemic is under control.
That will be to Kphthatsme, of course.
And in a way, she is right about gas prices eventually going up.
There is a finite supply of oil. Eventually resources are going to deplete and cause a scarcity.
That is one of the reasons, that clean energy sources, which can be replenished, are important.
The more alternate energy sources are used, the longer the supply of gas will last.
If there is an increase in the percentage of people using electric cars, that decreases the demand for gas.
It prolongs a lower price for gas. But, eventually that price has to go up, until there is no demand.
Indeed.Trump benefited from the same low oil prices that allowed the low Gas prices in the latter part of the Obama years.
As I said, we'll see what happens. I'm not one to diss a President - well at least while he's in office.
If he repeals the payroll tax cut, everyone will see a difference - not just those making over $400,000.
He has to somehow pay for all his proposals somehow. I really hope that I am wrong.
A higher tax rate on those making more than $700,000 per year should help,
and they are the ones who can certainly afford it.
In my opinion there should be a raise on the tax rate for those making $100,000 to 699,999.99 too.
There should be a small increase for every $100,000 net one makes.
Lets get the country out of debt quicker. Lets get universal health care quicker.
Firstly, it's not clear who you would like to see in power, Secondly, this is very out of date, thirdly, having huge difficulty trying to figure out what message you are trying to send with all this stuff. Very clear though, that you are trying to transmit negativity.
Yeah, parties are VERY negative. roll eyes laugh
Don't let this guy & 10s of Thousands More rain on y'all's parade ...

Par-Tay ON!! ... head banger
You bet. Expand renewable energy and that jobs sector, and let the native Americans
have their land not polluted. head banger
So, one tribe produces oil. I bet that wasn't their heritage. laugh
Either way, they will have to adapt too. head banger
